I don't think a costume change is enough. The cast just looks boring. Let's hope they were given terrible instructions for how to look during this photo shoot and actually have a wide range of facial expressions - and personality!

She looks alarmingly thin to me (not based on the cheekbones), but you're right that it's not uncommon to see that on TV!

Chloe, but no one else I can think of.

He didn't? I tried to make sense of the scene another way but that's what I saw.

:) I'm not a big fan of procedurals (mostly because the crimes and crime-solving is too similar on different ones), but I enjoy seeing Lucifer interact with everyone while working the cases.

I definitely think she acts like someone who's a bit ditzy but not a complete airhead!

    Haha, you're welcome!

Oh my, I didn't even recognize her!

I really liked her! She's supposed to return in season 3, but I don't know for how long.

Haha, me too! I appreciated the Supergirl-love either way. ^^

I like this idea, though I'm also kind of married to the idea of God as a manipulative jerk. I just like my devil-centered stories that way.

Most TV shows are full of thin people.. But you're right, and I definitely wouldn't mind a little more diversity in body types.

I was a little frustrated with how stereotypical Candy was, even if she had Some nuance, but with the reveal it worked great. Of course she was a stereotype - she was playing one! I love that actress (say what you will about The Carrie Diaries, but she made a great Samantha) and I hope she returns even if only for one

They definitely both had good reasons for choosing the different courses of action! And the idea that Holt's strategy has now landed him in a position of power so that he can take greater risks than he did previously and be the support for those not there yet… That was just beautiful.

I don't think I've ever thought about a script as "taking patience" before, but now that I think about it that's a really good quality.

Good point about the show. There are so many shows that treat almost all cops as heroes, as if being a police officer in itself makes a person heroic (which it might in theory, but considering what's happening - and not just in the US…).

I hope so too! If nothing else then because it improves the viewing experience when there's continuity - it makes the fictional world created feel more like an actual universe with people living their lives.

Ugh, sorry that happened to you.

Has it ever just been a silly workplace comedy though? I don't remember the first season well, but I remember a lot of serious moments and serious subjects tackled (usually very well). I think it's more common for this show to lose itself with episodes that are neither serious nor very funny. The seriousness usually
