I want so much more Shoshanna.

"…the type of danger that gentrification is carving into our society, specifically its lack of culture and its fixation on financial stuff". That's so far from the most dangerous thing about gentrification, but okay…

Right, now I remember! I hope we get that. :)

Wow, those are some talented comedy-writing siblings.

Same here! Well I started watching it and caught up a year or so ago, but then gave up on it, and now I've re-watched the whole show to get caught up again.

That's most of the jokes on this show for me. I couldn't figure out why I'm constantly laughing, and laughing so freaking hard, considering how silly many of the jokes are. Then I realised it's the acting. Johnson and Greenfield have especially fantastic facial expressions, but the whole cast is great.

That was very sweet and suited the character. ^^

Exact same thoughts+feelings here. I don't see myself getting as attached to other sitcom characters in the foreseeable future.

I could do without another proposal. I do want to see them together, or about to get together, before the show ends.

I gave up on New Girl when they did the episode about how everyone lost their virginity, and had convinced myself it's not a very good show - but I recently re-watched it and continued on, and now I love it. It really is good, and the characters are great. I'm going to miss them, whenever the show ends.

I totally forgot he was in that one! Lots of actors there who went on to bigger sci-fi projects. :P

We sort of got that with the crossover-event, though Sarah and Kara didn't interact much (or at all?).

And I think she's already a better character. It's much more engaging to watch a situation like that unfold when the whole female character doesn't revolve around male romantic interests.

I loved that there was no big conflict before Rip conceded the captain position to Sarah. And that he has such obvious respect for her. I know it's not new to see female characters as leaders anymore, but their dynamic still feels pretty fresh. No macho bullshit there.

I think they'd pull it off much better than I can imagine it. :P

    That's awesome. XD

    I feel the same way.

Okay! I'm not really planning on watching that, so no worries.

:) I've come to realise most of my friends (I'm also friends with them 10+ years later) are nerdy in their own ways, but there are very few things we're all nerdy about. But we bonded over enjoying things other people thought were a bit boring/silly, and teaching each other about our diverse areas of interest. Feeling

Do you think so? I don't think that's what she was thinking. Didn't seem that way to me, and doesn't seem likely considering the scenes before and after.
