I like his Flash character too! And I've barely been thinking about his HP role while watching.

The thing with Spike getting his soul back doesn't quite work for me either, especially since it highlights the lack of logic around vampires and their souls - since Spike was the same person before, and clearly acted like he had a soul in the year or so before. It creates so many questions.
Being a nerd is pretty much what helped me get friends in middle-school, so it wasn't isolating for me at all! :P If I hadn't had that, I would probably have stayed friends with people who were really nice, almost normal and who I just couldn't connect with in the way I wanted from a friendship. I'd still be the weird…
And I'm starting to get to the age where that father figure doesn't seem appropriate as a father figure any more… because of reasons.
I thought season 6 was great! It's very depressing, and I don't enjoy depressing, but that doesn't mean I don't appreciate the quality of what they're doing. So I'll name it one of my favourite seasons and only re-watch it very rarely.
:'(
Sooooo. And combined with being connected to Riley, of all characters? A lot of boredom there.
The robot Frankenstein guy. Definitely. I guess he wasn't the "big" bad there, but the professor character was also pretty bad. The whole thing just didn't work.
Wait is that actual text from something on the show?
They suggest he knows at one point, but if I remember correctly it was at least vague enough that it could be "I know something weird and not quite natural is going on here, but I don't want to know exactly what".
Yup.
How do you mean?
Yeah, I can see how that might make people wonder. But I think I've seen it in some classic musicals too?
I thought so first, but then he clearly waited to see what Sydney would think and do. Still creepy, but also consent-y. :P
He's amazing! I've been awed by him since the first episode. And it's more of a surprise than Plaza, because I've seen her do quite different things, but I've only seen Stevens in Downton Abbey.
Noo don't go to the right light!!! You know that never leads to good things!
It would be very complicated. If Syd switches bodies with A, and A then switches bodies with B, and maybe B switches bodies with someone… What the hell happens? Where does everyone end up, and do they all get back their own bodies at the same time, or at a certain amount of time after the switch? Do they then go…
I feel very sorry for MYSELF especially that I don't live in that world.
Though if you only went by what's said on the show, you'd think it's masking itself as schizophrenia, and not DID. I wish the writers had made more of an effort to make the distinction. :/
That's a good question. I'm guessing the Netflix Marvel shows and expressions like "high concept" were used in pushing for it, but apart from that I have no idea!
