Gah, now I'm curious what shows were mentioned and what the person wrote about them! Damn those deleted comments.

That scene was SO HEARTBREAKING. And frustrating.
That sounds complicated (the shake-licking).
Yes! Good comparison.
Of course! I'm just curious how long he'll keep it up.
Hasn't the manic/rage thing been a part of Rebecca's character from early on? Like a not-so-subtle part of the plot, and occasional fodder for jokes?
I don't know, I kind of enjoyed how Josh took Brah's experiences and advice and just totally misunderstood them. Fled again, except towards Jesus - who is totally not his calling, he just stole someone else's life ambition. Maybe it's a little far-fetched though…
Has it ever been stated on the show that Rebecca has BPD?
Thanks for the spoiler! XD
I thought that would happen when they showed the flashback to the mental hospital - maybe a little bit influenced by watching The Good Place recently (with the major twist going on there). But then the flashbacks were over quickly, phew!
Right!??
"as badly as she's acted towards Robert" - the jerk professor? Really?
Smug son of a bitch? Are you sure you're talking about Greg?
That's not the only thing it's got by far, but I do agree the main cast is its strongest point. I think many of the guest actors work well though.
:S Yeah I really don't want a Hamlet ending.
But she was when they were having an affair. How does it matter whether she was when she lit the fire? :P
She told him she had dropped out of his class in their last scene, so she was in his class before.
But she did, and then she was suspended. The episode explained that.
I appreciate Nathaniel's flaws very much. Way to make a new character work!
