I like to think the media is doing this because they missed on Trump so badly last time. They were sure Trump couldn’t possibly win and that led to a lot of people believing it and staying home and not voting. If they tell people every day that Trump has a good chance of winning it probably helps keep complacency

No, but I probably trust his staffers, who are probably mostly in their 20's.

I’ve seen this mentality quite a few times before when it comes to World of Warcraft. People just complaining non-stop about how the game is ruined now and they will never play it again, but then they almost always give in and buy the next expansion and the cycle repeats. I am pretty sure most of these people

The problem is many of those people are so stubborn they will vote for Trump a second time just so they don’t have to admit to themselves that they were wrong or conned.

I’m generally not opposed to running conservative Democrats in red districts to try and pick off a Republican seat here or there since that conservative Democrat will at least be better than the true Republican that would be in the seat otherwise. The problem I have though, is when the DCCC runs these conservative

I can’t get over the fact he used Obama’s 2012 winning map for the states. The openly white supremacist Congressman used the map Obama was re-elected with in his attempt to troll.

The idea I’ve been throwing around is expanding the court to 11 seats, with the two additions being temporary and only for the term of the President. This would bring two Justices that are hopefully more in line with the country’s current political thinking while still allowing the full time Justices to at least try

The biggest market gets to call the shots for the rest, it’s just how things work. It’s why California gets to set emission standards that the rest of the nation ends up having to follow.  Is it fair?  Probably not, but good luck changing it.

It was an overreaction to Trump winning the Presidency. They thought the country was swinging conservative and wanted to be sure they had conservative voices, or at least people who could speak to conservatives. They also hired Greta Van Sustren and Hugh Hewitt at around the same time. All three are already gone.

I was honestly holding my breath a little bit. Those same trolls took all the credit for tanking Solo and have already been tearing apart Episode IX.  I was just a little worried they were actually right.  This is a big sigh of relief to me.

I remember thinking in the 90s that the internet would change that. People would be exposed to all sorts of new ideas. Now look at what it has become...

I think the GOP is convinced that a war gets Trump re-elected.  The scary thing is they might be right.  Play up the patriotism angle while attacking socialism and daring people to side with the Democrats.

It always amazes me how the people who will scream “liberal media” and “fake news” on almost every single story a network like ABC or CBS reports on suddenly find their reporting beyond credible when it backs something they want to believe.

I understand that a lot of that is stock and not salary so this doesn’t exactly work, but if each of them took half of their total compensation for the year it would be enough to pay 500 employees $82,000 for the year.

It’s critical that there is a Democratic governor in 2021 to sign off on the new redistricting map after the 2020 census.  Virginia is already one of the most gerrymandered states in the country after the 2010 census, and if Republicans manage to hold onto the General Assembly this November and get a Republican

What’s weird about this is they are dropping the price to $50 on the Epic store, so they are making $44 a sale with the 88/12 split. At $60 on Steam with the 70/30 split they would have made $42 a sale.  I don’t know if leaving Steam and facing this backlash is going to be worth the extra $2 per sale they will

Two more reasons why I hate this move. First, I know with 99.9% certainty that Steam will still be around in a decade and my games will still be there. Who knows if that’s the case with the Epic store. Steam could match their revenue model and Epic’s store would be in serious trouble and then who knows what happens to

Honestly, I think it’s because they can’t get the talent they used to.  People know what kind of job they are in for working for one of these major developers/publishers and I think a lot of them are just taking a pass and working somewhere else, leaving Bethesda/EA/Activision etc. with whoever is left.

Because EA needs to stop taking prominent single player game studios and turning them into studios that focus on multiplayer first (and lately, exclusively). Maybe the shuttering of a studio they paid $700 million for barely a decade ago would send that message.

The smart play here would be to take a commercial flight to Brussels and meet with NATO allies, then arrange a NATO trip to Afghanistan.  Nothing would piss Trump off more than seeing Pelosi in Afghanistan surrounded by NATO leaders.
