It basically is — wonder if that’s what it’s called in game?

They know as well as everyone that a Switch version would be the smart play here, and I believe they’ll announce it sooner rather than later. And from a game dev perspective, I’m fairly certain all of them would love to get their hands dirty programming a Switch game, and it’s the most logical thing for them to work

Loved the Dodge-Parry body slams. You want to try and Jump me, Dragoon? SLAM GOES YOU.

Presumably, lots of nekos. Onomichi is famous for its cat park; I was there this past March and can vouch that we came across many stray cats while wandering around its narrow streets.

I’m personally super keen to see this chart again after a couple weeks of Super Mario Run on the market, and think the change will be more perceivable then (in a good way, of course)

It seems to reason if you mash buttons in Excitebike, you will have a shitty experience. As we know, that’s not the intended play controls, but that’s how Jason chose to play it for his review.

That’s the point here - these are being gathered so that they can be properly rom dumped. As in, the originals don’t exist outside of a forgotten drawer deep within the bowels of HAL or Nintendo... so the best folks like Frank can hope for are to pick up a downloaded version, and then dump that.

This is great news, looking forward to hearing more about the improvements made. As other people have commented, having a map feature would be really helpful for this game — here’s to hoping one gets added. Definitely will pick this up.

Umm, pretty sure there’s no such thing as a Cease and Desist for Halloween costumes.

It was a transcending moment in gaming, the joy of reaching the counter, handing over the ticket, and watching someone pull the game from the stacks of games neatly arranged and/or hot out of the box back there.

Thanks for writing this, Kevin. Believe it or not, I was in the same graduating class as Naomi, and we shared classes during primary education. (Shout out to Mr. Eads, our amazing 4th grade teacher!) I was also a regular NP subscriber during those years and you can only imagine my surprise and awe when her first

Thanks! Yep - been grinding out heroic strikes and now at 356, knocking on the door to 357 with a fair amount of 358 gear, but have a 351 artifact holding me back. Artifacts drop in strikes as well, right? Just been a long time since I’ve seen one, is all. At this rate, should be good to start running the Raid &

I hear ya man, put in close to 4 hours per night the last two days and stuck at 351. RNG has been shitting out everything at 351 for me as of late...

I disagree here - I think its gameplay holds up just fine, actually. It’s still very playable, the controls are fine / no major issues there. There’s no super cheesy enemies or anything that’s particularly broken about it; the series just continued to evolve after it. Yes, it feels rather dated at this point, but I

Super Mario Land is not garbage - it was a revered game on the playground when it was the only platformer in town - but I will admit it hasn’t aged as well as other games.

I know you... you know me.

Shoot me

Yep, that does make sense then. I wasn’t aware of Austin, or his role with Vice Gaming, before this news broke, but I’ll definitely keep an eye on them. Let that investigative journalism keep flowin’!

Hot damn, you called it!

Not a single 3DS or Wii U game on the list this week, not even a scant indie eShop title. Huh. I’m sure it’s not the first time, but still, feels kinda vacant :/
