Never heard of this one! Though, I'm guessing Mike's pulling his list from US releases. Still, will definitely have to check this out. Would the DS version be a good place to start with the series, or would you recommend getting the SFC cart?

Just curious, is P-100 playable at the NYC Wii U event?

Exactly. That's when the identity crisis started. Sega CD was perhaps that last stable thing they did (even if rickity in its own way), and even the original version of that was a total beast.
I think the Kid Icarus Uprising formula nails it - give the player an incentive to set a harder difficulty level and reap the benefits of better spoils, BUT you have to risk hearts in the process. This has really added to the playback of the game - trying to clear levels at progressively tougher levels becomes very…
I prefer [redacted] and [super redacted]
Right on. Seemed like a pretty different system but hadn't really looked at it.
How does the battle system compare to the DS Ni No Kuni?
The key is cooking short grain rice. Minute rice, Uncle Bens, stuff like that is no good. Depending where you live, you might not have it at your grocery store and will instead need to go to an Asian or Japanese grocery store. There are all kinds of brands there as well, but they will all get you much closer to the…
Agreed, +1 vote to getting proper mobile commenting working here, kotaku
Maybe it's just me, but... Where is Everybody?
I think it's great they take their time between iterations. I'm not one of hardcore by any means, but it's a good thing that these games aren't serialized or have to have a sequel every year or two. Let Sakurai take his time; the polish always shows.
Less frequent than every couple of years — they've released 1 Smash Bros in the past 10 years (2002 - 2012).
Man, that would be epic to release this prior to the new consoles on PC! But we all know the likelihood of that happening, sigh...
Not intended to be but yeah it kind of sounds like that. Would be cool if they could incorporate the handheld controller somehow for picture taking... we'll just have to wait and see!
"If they make a game that opens with Samus driving a van with an awesome wolf air-brushed on the side, cheesy generic hard-rock might be a good fit, though."
You know what I say? Good for them. I think having must-have 3rd party games that will hopefully be available around launch of the next gen is a good thing — I imagine there will be folks that buy the new console just to play this game (assuming its good of course!).
Agreed! Sadly, one of the reasons I lost interest in the game later on was because Scherazard was out of the picture. And for me, well, just got tired of Estelle after a while (and the battle system).
