@Archaotic: Totally would agree here, esp. for the multiplayer aspect. After a while, running around on nothing but the train starts to grow old, and you've got no one to share it with.
@Foxhack: I think playing any game to the end with just one credit is a great feat and is something special. I find this to be a bit of a cult fascination as friends of mine who are fans have never seen it in action.
I want to see a video of someone playing through with Cody without continuing. Actually seen it played near flawlessly a few times at game centers, in various parts of Japan. Never looked into, but I always imagined there was a small cult surrounding that specific aspect alone.
Does that say that Ibuki matriculated at Sarusuberi Private College? Saru = monkey, suberi = slide ... Monkeyslide U?
May I suggest a classic Texas BBQ Brisket? My top request every time I go back to visit.
@Showmeyomoves!: Way too short for a Zelda game? Really? I dunno, I kind of liked them when you could take them out a little bit quicker... 4 hour dungeons for Twilight Princess was downright annoying. I though Phantom Hourglass was just about right for me gaming needs.
@DavidinMN: Yeah, I don't know how I missed this game back in the day, but I picked up a cart in college and eventually rocked the shit out of it. Nothing worse than the feeling when you had picked everyone up during the level and lost a life at the end!
Well then fuck yeah! Jackal was a great game, and one of those games I'm surprised that didn't churn out a sequel (Green Beret / Rush 'n Attack being another). If this is true, I'd pick it up for sure. #jackal
My suggestion for this? Provide a speed throttle addition to help with the grinding this game ultimately requires.
@Southrncomfortjm: agreed. though, FF gets the award for being the first game I stayed up all night grinding with the help of a friend. funny to think, here's a couple of 10 year olds, doing nothing but beating up the giants in that special corridor of Earth Cave for hours on end, just to move up a handful of levels.…
I returned my unopened PSPgo today to instead order a PSP3000. Previously had a 1000 that died in a bag of sake (bottle broke!), but my UMDs are still fine, so... had to choose the player that will play 'em.
@(Zombie) Goldwings: It was an awesome time to live in. Camps were divided. Even friends were carried that attitude. Took a bit to convince some Genesis buddies that no, Super NES is cool.
@tim rogers: i checked out your myspace page, great music and love the private parties! hopefully can see you play next time i'm in tokyo, could be a bit though.
Japanese drum performances are awesome. Not nearly as technical as a slick drumline here in the states, but way more natural, historical, and spirited. And the clothes are always sweet.
Having never played any of the aforementioned games at any length, no, I probably wouldn't have recognized his voice!
Hip Tanaka wrote some classics, no doubt. Love hearing it reinterpreted like this today. Would be great to see them release SML again with a full face lift on DSiware or even Wiiware.
how's the sakura bash? blooming yet?
Will you have a yard at the new place? or at least a nearby playground?
