This hasn’t been true for many years. Most prepaid cards just charge a flat monthly fee, and a fee for loading the card (if no direct deposit) and almost all other fees are easily avoidable. Transaction fees, customer service fees, and other nitpicky fees are not a part of most mainstream prepaid cards anymore. Most

I feel like American and American Eagle are opposite. I think American is card-only and American Eagle is cash-only.

Judge Wynn, by definition and common understanding, is being a “judge,” in that he is wearing a robe and banging a gavel.

Some airlines are cash only for booze/snacks on the plane. But that just means it’s time to turn on the charm if you don’t have any cash.

It can also be done to prevent employee theft. There is a salad chain in DC (Sweetgreen) that claims they do it for the environment. I honestly don’t think they are trying to keep homeless people (or other “undesirables”) from buying their overpriced salads.

Some states and cities are starting to pass regulations requiring businesses to accept cash.

1. Buying goods is not a debt. For some reason this “legal tender for debts” line gets thrown around a lot, but it is immaterial.

Lindsay Graham is most likely asexual.

Edgy.

You gotta look at the bright side. There could be added elements to coastal tourism. For example, I went on one of those lobster fishing tours in Maine. You go out, and they show you how lobster fishing is done (you don’t actually keep any of the lobsters). With offshore drilling, they could add in a new element of

They’re idiots? That is and has always been my working hypothesis (also, racist).

J.D. Vance is not from Appalachia, either.

This guy is a fucking fraud. He’s not a hillbilly, and he’s not even from Appalachia. Yeah, Middletown isn’t Manhattan, but he is still riffing off another culture for his own personal benefit.

You never go full Roger Stone.

But if only we would try to “understand” the Trump voter...

He looked like a sniveling idiot, but sure, maybe that was the look he was going for.

Has anyone ever murdered someone, been convicted, murdered someone else, been convicted, murdered someone else, and been convicted? Seems like that guy should have been locked away forever at least one murder ago, if not two. I guess you can murder people in prison, too.

No, I think the existence of racial bias of jurors is one (of many) reason that should disqualify the death penalty from existing.

Yes, and all of that is just more reason to wonder why we are trying to decide who deserves death versus life in prison (honestly, I’d be against the death penalty anyway, but this is just another reason).

He probably said it, but he’s a racist piece of shit either way.
