Yes yes of course, because I don’t want the government to control my movement, I should live in the woods. Perfectly sane response. No middle ground there, no sir. It’s either live in an authoritarian technocratic superstate, or mud huts. There’s no debate or limit on government power; it’s either all or nothing, deal

Yeah, strip us of our freedom of movement instead of educating people on the proper use of their car. No way that could backfire.

On an ordinary car they might try to repair the hood. On this car they're 100% guaranteed to replace it.

Those wheels actually aren’t horrible.

Yeah that nose is all one piece and it’s got to be replaced. Even the air dam is all crooked; they’re not going to try to fix that. Definitely $50k+ for the repairs when you figure all the parts, paint, and labor for a shop qualified to work on a car like this.

LOL @ the S2000.

Ain’t no clutch in a US-spec SL.

What are you talking about? Look at the last photo; there’s a deep crease running from the lip of the hood all the way up to the top of the headlight housing. That’s not a ‘smear of rubber’. What the fuck do you think they’re going to do with that? Bondo? Paintless dent repair?

Nope. That hood is creased to hell, the air dam is shot, and so is the nose. The whole front of the car needs to be replaced.

Nope it absolutely didn’t. That Ferrari needs an entirely new front clip, and there’s no avoiding it. The air dam is fucked, and so is the nose and hood. Doesn’t matter if it’s broken into a thousand pieces or just creased up, it all needs to be replaced.

But that’s exactly what happened.

At least now the owner of the Mercedes will have the opportunity to upgrade to European bumpers and get rid of those US-spec diving boards. The few inches of extra clearance might help their parallel parking situation too.

I think they figured it played fine in the daytime shots, so they left it alone.

Yeah, if they have a new Esprit in their future it’s pretty much guaranteed to be a V8, so we’ll see.

It’s crazy to think that Amazon just started off as an online book store.

He’s the fucking M. Night Shyamalan of comic book movies.

hahahahaha no

The Cayman is probably the ‘better’ car in terms of build quality and small details. But performance wise they sound very well matched, and I think it probably comes down to personal preference.

Wow, could you possibly be any more up your own ass?
