No. If something is against the law, you are arrested or fined. Not sued.

Who said anything about dealers? Nobody involved with this story is a car dealer.

It’s not $9k with all that rust. If it were rust free, then probably.

Yeah that was my first thought also; are they going to actually sell a GT3 road car?

Uhuh. And exactly what laws would you like to see drafted here?

Then they should be suing the appropriate regulatory agencies for non-enforcement.

Fuck those ‘doctors’ and their fucking frivolous process-is-the-punishment lawfare bullshit. If what these guys are doing isn’t against the law, then too fucking bad.

Oh I know. I’ve been dismissing everyone who left a snarky partisan comment. I figure if the DNC can do it, so can I.

I’ll anxiously await the good-natured fluff piece about Mike Pence. Should be happening any minute now.

Yep /DRIVE is thedrive.com, and they also run a youtube channel. To be honest I prefer articles to youtube videos as well, generally speaking.

Yeah, and they gave Tyler Rogoway a great platform at The War Zone, so I guess take the good with the bad.

I have a W140 and it’s brilliant even at 20 years old. The W220 was definitely a disappointment. They made significant improvements for the 2004 facelift, but it will definitely be remembered as a misstep.

Most people know that an S Class costs around $100,000 new. It’s not some big secret.

I would watch the fuck out of Top Gear with 50 Cent and Matt LeBlanc.

‘Treated well’ means that they won’t cut off your pinky and mail it to your family, or leave you chained to a radiator for a month with no water.

None of these things are out of the ordinary to start failing on a high-mileage car. In fact, Mercedes recommends replacing the coolant expansion cap every time the system is serviced.

It wasn’t, I just made that one up so people got the gist of it. You’re right, they were more convoluted than that, and they changed every time.

It’s not that they wouldn’t get it, it’s that it’s low profile enough to not create an international incident and get lots of unwanted attention.

Yeah they said not to trust the local police. That was actually part of the ‘do not try to escape’ instructions; they said that even if I was somehow able to get away and find a cop, there was a better than 50/50 chance the cop would just deliver me right back to the kidnappers (or to other kidnappers).

Not good enough.
