I think I already know the answer to this, but....are we ever gonna be able to do any of this shit (like custom race tracks, etc.) offline?

This makes me wanna ask the “what if” question I’d been curious about for a few days now.

Think of it this way. In terms of back then, Mario is to Nintendo as Sonic is to Sega. Basically, they were both gaming icons that both companies used aggressively in their marketing campaigns throughout that era, which paved the way for the industry as it is today.

Yeah, but the emulation quality is still shit. Same goes with SEGA. They recently fixed the sound emulation on the SEGA Forever games, but the overall emulation is still bad.

Yeah, I really don’t believe that they’ll actually fix anything. Their previous Genesis clone console were shit as far as emulation goes (reminds me of Sega’s efforts with Sega Forever, but at least they’re actually trying to optimize the emulator), and that will more than likely continue with their “fixed” version.

I’m gonna be honest - I thought this and P3D + P5D were just one well-put-together April Fool’s joke, without it being April Fool’s.

Steam version has better graphics, more voices, and 120FPS.

Nah, it ain’t bloated.

Did they take lessons from Walmart on how to treat their employees or something?

You brought up a very good point, and one that I completely forgot about - Content ID. He’s only ever done ONE Angry Review for Nintendo, and that’s for everybody’s new favorite Zelda game - Breath of the Wild. He uploaded like 6 different versions to see if he could get past Nintendo’s copyright bot (he eventually

I don’t understand why everyone’s acting so entitled just because he needs to take a break. Those people really need to grow the fuck up. He needs to take a break, so he’ll take a fucking break. You’re not his boss - HE IS!!!

So, did the editor Photoshop the wires out of every frame or something?

that sucks Gamestop by you is shitty.

Did you forget that they limited the quantities to just one per order, at least in the UK?

GameStop has theirs setup where they can send you texts once they have stock. Search SNES Classic Edition GameStop (you can’t do this on the actual website, it links to that Prima book instead) and you’ll find the main page.

That’s why I think Amazon and such should cancel orders that have the same delivery/billing addresses, regardless of how many individual accounts are in play.

Amazon at least doesn’t charge people upon placing an order, unlike every other website including Walmart and Best Buy. And yeah, I know my card is not actually being charged, but it might as well be since that money is withheld from me, which can be a problem for some people.

I’m signed up, but that’s not good enough. Like, I would need notifications to show up on my phone. And while I could setup push notifications for CAGNewDeals on Twitter, unfortunately the app doesn’t always send me alerts when activity happens.

If I’m ever lucky to even have $300 on me at any given time, I’ll spend it on a Switch, not an SNES Classic Edition. Especially not one being sold by a scalper, because I abstonately refuse to support them and their bullshit.

We’re upset because Nintendo ALWAYS seems to understock highly desirable items like this. amiibo, Switch, NES Classic, you name it. (Even though the specific situation with the Switch is understandable, it’s still bullshit.)
