Right. It was sarcastic because the last post Andrew posted with diesel trucks doing a sled pull (Diesel Power Challenge Post) people only seemed to be interested in the "bro trucks rollin coal".

Uh oh.....I can't wait to see all the comments about another dumb bro truck...or rolling coal...

The truck itself would be considered an RV, the overall length would require a CDL. Weight would be a factor too.

How do you propose that we instruct people to drive RV's? I agree with you that in the US we have much less rigorous driving tests and training programs and this causes some of our drivers to be far below acceptable levels of safety and common sense...but besides just ranting about some "problem" that you think we

The title shouldn't be "Super cars are Stupid", It should be "The majority of people who buy super cars don't drive them / can't drive them to their full potential". That title I would agree with.

For the people that are assuming this competition was to see who can roll the most coal......You are just missing the point completely. While yes, on the streets, it is very douchey when a "bro truck" rolls coal for no apparent reason, or to smoke out a hybrid etc. I won't argue that. But for the sake of beating a

Agreed. The base truck that most "bro trucks" start from aver very capable useful trucks...and even with bro truck modifications they can still be useful trucks. But seeing as there isn't an OEM that makes the "Brodozer" i think its a little irrelevant to have them on the list. As douchey and lame as some are I

Ok, still don't want to argue because there isn't a point...but the truck itself isn't useless (like the point of this QOTD thread was getting at). Whether or not the buyers of the truck use it to any or all of its potential isn't a fault of the truck but of the driver / owner. Something like the SSR is actually a

Yes its a 5.5' bed (like the ridgeline...and tacoma...and lots of other trucks...) but its still useful. And you're wrong. it has a 6000lb capacity vs the ridgeline's 5000lb. Again....I wasn't saying that its the MOST USEFUL truck out there, I was just arguing that its not the MOST USELESS.

OK, No point in arguing. I agree that there are Raptors that don't see nearly the action they were intended to see, but there are some that do hammer out the desert and tow trailers and haul stuff. So I was just commenting on the fact that it IS a useful truck even though its not always being used to its potential.

If you peel off all the douchey stuff though it was developed as a very useful truck. Its drivers and modifications make it not so much anymore...but if you take it at stock value most "bro trucks" are very capable diesel pickups.

But the truck itself is actually a very useful truck. Regardless of how it is typically driven or used....it was designed as a solid truck and CAN be very useful.

I wouldn't say more useless....cause it can potentially be very useful. But most audacious and outlandish and douchey....I would agree to that.

While there are many arguments for why leasing doesn't make sense or whatever, it can only be viewed on a case to case basis. No one can say for certain that ALL leases are a bad idea, some make sense for certain cars and people and situations and plans etc. That being said there is always the "safety" option when

Finally! A Doug DeMuro article I can agree with! With the exception of like a Dinan package on a bmw or something I always assume that a car being sold that has lots of modifications has been driven like a lunatic and that the "upgrades" will actually lessen the value of the car. I always laugh at classifieds where

I was shocked when i saw the front end at first....and not in a good way. But then i saw what the front end on a standard charger looked like and this one is much better looking...its growing on me slightly. Luckily if you're driving it you won't be able to see the front end...and if you see one on the street it'll

Yea i agree. Really the only time i could think of someone having to pay the fees is if they were way over mileage and they were trying to completely get out of the car. I.e. turn it in and not get another lease or buy it out etc.

And thats what it was for me basically. Plus the fact that i'm 99.99% confident i won't lose my ass on it being a lease. Like i've said in other comments..i used to be against a lease for many reasons and now i'm more open to them as long as numbers make sense...but they take a lot of researching and understanding

I'm sure its been stated in the previous 221 replies I just couldn't read all of them...but here is my take on the matter. More tech and gadgets and features means more complicated car systems, and typically it means more expensive to fix or even figure out the problem...But times will adapt to the ever growing

From everything i've calculated....It should be just about even, with maybe a couple hundred more for the lease. Given it was a lease I was able to negotiate a lower asking price. Typically people would get 4-6% off MSRP and I got 11% off. So its close but its not like i'm owing a huge amount more having leased
