Everything about this show screamed Zodiac to me - a very positive thing from where I’m sitting too.

I agree with the comment about the dialogue in his conversation with Tench at the bar - man, that was awful. And an interesting point about how Holden’s character is misconceived by the writers.

A thousand times yes to this. Metacritic is so much fairer I’m amazed it’s not more widely used.

I had such a similar experience, although my wife was at home with our six-month old daughter so I went to the movie alone. Great decision.

Is this verified, or just speculation? Not that I’d dispute it - it’s more than plausible - I just wondered if I’d missed a section in “On Writing” like where he admits to not remembering writing several of his books at all...

Ah, just thank goodness they ditched that ending. Speaking as a long time Stephen King fan, I’ve never worked out just how he managed to misjudge that scene so badly.
