Pretty strange that this article from 2007 states that Jeep made it higher. I can’t find the Jalopnik article from that time.

My time driving a 996 in CA was frustrating. After a couple of tanks being 3/4 full, I presumed it must be because of their goofy nozzles. The next tank I did fast fill first, then slow fill second thinking that would get me a full tank. It did, but then more so also. Apparently on a 996 when you use a CA nozzle, and

Automakers being upset about the EV deadline changing is telling because 1. It shows they were only planning on going all EV because of regulations, and 2. They expect if other automakers still sell gas/diesel cars while they are only selling EVs, the consumer will prefer the gas/diesel putting them at a

That doesn’t sound right.  There’s websites where you can enter your VIN and see every option that your vehicle is equipped with.

I wonder if the fake VIN matched the vehicle in terms of color, engine/transmission, option packages etc.?

Agreed. In almost every single case, you’d be better off investing in the stock market than a car. If you but a car you should plan on driving and enjoying it (and not worry if it’s some “limited” edition). If you want to make money, you should study Buffetology. Even an amazing car like a McLaren F1 isn’t worth it.

This has been my prediction ever since they announced the 300 series wouldn’t come to the US.  Instead we’ll get a new FJ Cruiser type vehicle.

Strange considering that modern cars have higher hoods, automatic braking, etc. All these features are supposed to be safer for pedestrians. Though anecdotally, it seems around me every jogger runs into the street without looking and is then shocked when there are cars there. I learned in kindergarten that you’re

Everyone seems to be expecting the new US Land Cruiser to be a Prado.  To me it would make more sense if it was like the FJ Cruiser.

Wow, a quick Google search suggests that the new GX 550 is bigger than the 100 series LC. That is very surprising to me.

V6 Bronco stick shift is definitely news to me. How many did they make, 7? Must be super rare.

Agreed. Reminds me of the Stryker Red used on the last gen Viper.

Meh, I’ve never had a problem with it. I’m pretty sure I have the tool in the frunk, but I’ve never used it, despite having removed the wheels many times.

1. Yes, I wish there were more spots to safely place a jack.

Nope, not a real model.  Find one official Porsche reference to such a trim - you can’t.

Lots of errors in this article. For one, there’s no such neighborhood as Pigsville. That was made up by Google, which is actually a common practice.

It was also used in the 2007-2018 JK Wrangler

The explanation is obvious: because they are more fun.

It’s West Virginia. They elect govt officials who promise to shrink and dismantle the govt, then they are surprised when their govt is ineffective.

People will say this is silly and impractical, but so is every other car that costs $220k.  If I was a billionaire, I would’ve been first in line to get one after it was first announced.
