A tried and true recipe we have on rotation at least once a month:

If you watched the show My Strange Addiction you may remember the lady who not only weighed everything she ate, but also weighed her poo. She convinced herself that they should be almost identical in weight and if not, she’d down laxitives to help expel whatever was “stuck” in her gut.

I don’t know how TV shows or movies work behind the scenes, but if the writers are on strike and prevent production, doesn’t the rest of the crew get screwed out of a paycheck too if they can’t work? Honestly asking so no snide or rude comments please.

I just saw their new strawberry biscuits advertised and was going to stop by anyway. Fingers crossed they have those packets. I’d love them as an addition to my condiment drawer. All the cajun seasonings I have found at the grocery store were too salty for our tastes.

We buy ground turkey when it’s on sale just to change things up. We usually make meatballs, but a turkey burger with teriyaki sauce is also a great meal. A little mayo and maybe some panko will be my next adventure in cooking.

Our local Walmart has a pretty decent bakery, and one of our common purchases is their jumbo croissants. We like to slice them in half and add a pan fried maple sausage patty along with american cheese and a fried egg. I would have never thought to put the whole thing in my waffle iron. That will be my next great food

I’ve been toying with the idea of getting a meat press for some time, and now I’m convinced I need one. Although we don’t make our own flour tortillas, we do buy the “read to cook” ones by Guerrero. If anyone has a great recipe for mac sauce, please post it. I bet these would be good made in a cast iron skillet.

Maybe they should have joined forces with Panda Express instead? We love their orange chicken. Also, I vote air fryer.

We don’t know what killed this person, so to speculate that it was the chip itself seems a bit premature. Either way, this poor kid was taken too early. I hope they find out whatever it was.

Did this poll ask about lab grown meat and whether a vegan or vegetarian person would consider eating it? My understanding is that these companies are striving to create meat that’s ethically created as well as healthier than the real thing. One day, it may actually cost less than the real thing, too.

I’ve seen premade dough at my local HEB as of late and am always tempted to pick one up and make individual pizzas to grill. I want dough that is so good, I don’t even have to add toppings to it. I guess time will tell.

There’s a Whole Foods near me that has a beer and oyster shack right in the middle of the store. 32 craft beers on tap from all around Texas. The carts have pint glass holders and there are pint glass holders located around the store for you to place your empty one. It’s pretty freak’n cool!

Oh yes! We love our local Weinerschnitzel here in Texas. If we can’t get there and want to stay more local, it’s either Sam’s Club Nathan’s Jumbo Hot Dog at their deli or 7-11 Big Bite.

There’s always an extra bottle of ketchup in my pantry. Other than hot dogs, hamburgers and potatoes (hash browns, french fries, etc.) I usually use it in recipes like homemade BBQ sauce or this delicious Salisbury steak recipe.

Yeah...that was on an episode of Brady Bunch. Not sure about ILL.

Rudy’s is a popular BBQ joint where I live, and their chop is so good in breakfast tacos. I can only assume adding it to a crispy, buttery toasted english muffin would track nicely.

There was a time when ordering delivery was fun and a nice treat. Now I just feel ripped off between delivery fees, service fees and tipping. I’d rather get in my car and drive a mile or two to pick something up. During the pandemic, delivery was really the only way some restaurants could stay afloat since dining in

Steps: 1. Remind your cat how lucky they are that you love them enough to save the chicken bones. 2. Shred meat from carcass. 3. Break the carcass into snack size bits and give them to said cat. 4. Be thankful said cat even pays attention to you in the first place. 5. Repeat as necessary.

I was going to ask about that. Marinade 24 hours, freeze 45 min, cook for 7 min. I’m not sure how well oil based marinade would do in the freezer though since I’ve never tried it.
