Once you’ve been in your role a while, you can probably set your calendar (mine was Outlook) to block out times. Mine blocks were anything on Monday or Friday after noon and nothing the other days after 3. The pandemic and WFH really sucked everyone into this vortex. It was a big part of my burnout.

Never been a fan of pre popped popcorn snacks. If all else fails I microwave a bag, add a little evoo spray and douse with a cheese packet from a box of mac and cheese. 

I know when I make a purchase, it shows up as “pending” for a couple of days. Even as pending, it still counts against my total credit line.

I had to create a Meta account in order to use my Oculus headset a few years back and I cringed. I had to go through and uncheck so many privacy options that it took me almost a half an hour. I got off social media years and years ago and it’s the best thing I’ve done for my mental health.

When my Mom was buried her grave included 4 tubes. One by each corner of her casket. They are specifically for cremains or anything else, such as jewelry or pictures. Myself, my Son, and my Sister and Brother will all be buried there with her.

I’ve done this several times with much success. I empty the dishwasher while waiting on my morning coffee to brew. I clean out the fridge prior to going grocery shopping. I fill my water bottle while I’m putting my lunch away at my work fridge.

I haven’t been to my local TPs in about five years, but I can remember ordering the chicken fried chicken with jalapeno gravy. Not only was it delicious, it was HUGE! The first time in a long time I had been to a sit down restaurant and thought I got more than what I paid for.

Has anyone had luck incorporating TVP into ground beef? Beef, for us at least, is pricey so I’m always looking for ways to extend it. TVP sounds like a great inexpensive solution.
