I would like a “The Witcher” experience. Except it would have nothing to do with food.

They probably won’t get involved unless “allegedly” turns into “convicted”.
Everyone knows you don’t pay a hit man all at once. Half now, half when the job’s done! Geeze...doesn’t anyone watch movies now-a-days?? :)
I you shopped at a store that had a decent deli, I could see making this. You could ask for 4 slices of this, or 3 slices of that.
I haven’t tried this, so I don’t know. But, at least the hot dog would fit the entire length of the bun. (it appears to make them a bit longer)
For road trips, we bring our pillows and our plush blankets plus instant coffee and sugar packets. It’s has nothing to do with cleanliness. We get homesick and those things help. If I were flying to a destination and staying for a while in one place, I would probably bring pillowcases and maybe a flat bed sheet.
I have a credit card that includes extended warranties on things you buy....like appliances and electronics, so long as you use the card to buy it. It also covers my insurance on rental cars as well as travel. I don’t use it often but it’s nice to know it’s there.
Allie...could you add a couple of drops of sesame oil to the pan as well as the other oil?
Not a cleaning tip but....take a pillow case and use it as a container for the other pillow case and sheet set. If you care about your sheets and pillow cases matching, that is.
I love the part of my brain that looks in my pantry and says “I wonder if I could...”.
“behind you” is one we used to use when I was a waitress at Sheri’s back in my youth. If I’m carrying a tray of milkshakes and I’m walking behind someone standing at a table, this term usually helps ensure the person doesn’t step in your way and turns suddenly as you are passing them by.
My son and I love road trips and are planning one to Cali later this year. Since 99% of our food comes from cooking at home, I’m excited to eat out while on vacation. Of course, planning is everything. Since we won’t be in one spot for more than a day or two, we can ensure that we’re stopping in places that have, or…
I’ve rented my fair share of cars in my day, and all I can say is document, document, document! I take pictures inside and out before I leave, and the same when I return. I always return when they are open so someone can come with me and walk around the car. I also go to a car wash before returning the car for a…
I’m in this camp too. I light my gas grill, and once it’s done preheating, I scrub it clean and turn off the burners. I oil the grates, turn it back on, and start grilling. I’ve even used cooking spray in a pinch because the burners are off.
I guess anywhere there is air circulating, you’ll find dust. Even under a bed (dust bunnies). Under the stairs and the top shelf of my closest isn’t going to have the same air flow. Before you pop a piece of luggage in a garbage bag, just make sure you air it out and give it a good dusting.
Many years ago, I had a renter who smoked inside move out. I used a 50/50 combo of tap water and fabric softener to wash the walls and baseboards. It worked like a charm, and the house smelled great! The walls were painted with a semi gloss, so I’m sure that helped. It sounds weird, I know, but it worked.
I like the idea of keeping 3 months of income tucked away along with the cost of my health, homeowners, and auto insurance deductibles. Pop those into a high yield savings account and let the compound interest do its thing. Right now, Weathfront has a high yield account between 4.55% and 5.05%. https://www.wealthfront.…
