I read about the negative effects of fabric softener a while ago and stopped using it almost immediately. I did start putting white vinegar in my fabric softener dispenser with wonderful results. 

If you purchased online, you can go back to the item page and see what’s inside. There should also be a tag on the blanket itself that gives instructions for washing or cleaning. If it was a gift, see if you can’t find the manufactures name on the tag and google it for more info.

There’s so much more to this story and I’m sure more information is forthcoming. In the end, if my child went to a neighbor’s house with a whip to confront another child, I’ve pretty much failed as a parent.

I’ve used oatmeal in all kinds of savory dishes. It holds together meats (IE meatloaf) rather well. I would have never thought to make cheese covered squares though. This is exciting to me!

Thank you for putting this together Beth! We learned our lesson after our second initial shots and took the next day off. We also stocked up on things like ibuprofen and snacks so we didn’t have to get out of bed. It hit us like a freight train! 

I feel like if you are already a serious DIYer you probably already have the sand paper, paint and clear coat and this could be an afternoon project. If you aren’t, it’s probably just cheaper (and a lot less frustrating) to purchase new covers online.

I’m a huge fan of anything “set it and forget it”. I’ve already mastered making hard boiled eggs in my air fryer. I’m going to try this next! Thank you Dennis :)
