One of the only things I miss about going into the office is the free food. The Chicken Biscuits was a popular item they would bring in and was my first experience with anything Chick-fil-A.

We’re a hug fan of the Walmart frozen maple breakfast sausage patties. Because of the extra sugar, they brown exceptionally well in the skillet and they are thin enough that you don’t have to microwave them first.

More and more, at least here in central Texas, we’re seeing fees associated with using your credit card. We see them mostly in mom and pop restaurants/businesses as well as some gas stations. The gas stations will say X amount per gallon with cash. I also saw that our local Dollar Tree is now charging a fee for cash…

After my gastric sleeve surgery in 2011, my life changed and it wasn’t for the better. I have reached out to doc after doc and scour the internet to find anyone, someone who has had a similar experience after this type of surgery and have come up empty handed over and over.

The video is crazy! 90MPH? And no explanation so far as to why. If she wasn’t drinking, then what exactly happened? Was she exiting on off ramp? Was she having a mini stroke? Until we know the why it’s going to be hard for anyone to have empathy for what happened.

If I’m hosting a BBQ I’m going to have a variety of meats and some of those will require prep. Some of that prep begins the day before and some begin the morning of.

Sadly you can’t use tape on a popcorn ceiling so learning this skill is a must, especially if you’re painting an accent wall (like me) LOL

They’re right. Installing AC in any vehicle is no small feat. Not to mention a waste since they stop and get out of their vans all day long. It would add some cooling for sure, but not the cooling you and I are used to in our cars. Wouldn’t it also mean having to fill up the gas tank more often?

I didn’t even know canned potatoes existed! I love experimenting with foods in my PowerXL. I’ve purchased fingerling potatoes washed and sliced in half with EVOO, salt and garlic. The air fryer always cooks them perfectly. Thank you Claire...I’m super excited to try canned potatoes for the first time :)

When I was in my teens, my older sister would stop me every single time I said “um” and said “Don’t say um”. It wasn’t until I was older and in adult business meetings that I understood just how annoying it is to hear um, uh and like. Now I pause or repeat what I just said but slower. It helps get the point across LOL

I think if you have a really big family where you spend a lot of money on groceries, the coupon game is totally worth it. Matching up coupons with sales ads can be fun and challenging. I mostly buy store brands with the exception of laundry soap and dishwasher detergent. I have no desire to shop 5 different stores…

I’ve had a block of cream cheese sitting in my fridge waiting for a AH-HA recipe. This sounds wonderful! I’m thinking of making cinnamon apple crepes with this drizzled on top. Maybe even some orange zest mixed in.
