polygons in games were absolutely not viewed as a gimmick when they were released. everyone knew it was the future. this is completely revisionist.

hm, I don’t have autoplay. I wonder why the difference.
I am one of those annoying people who comments on a lot of stories that luke plunkett writes about blockchain. Mostly because I think most articles he writes are just angry tirades attacking something new as opposed to attacking the fundamental problems that blockchain and nfts have.
The arguments he makes in the slideshow are really smart.
thanks!
Also, he was behind smw2:yoshi’s island more cartooney art style. In backlash against the realistic graphics of dkc of all things. I am honestly surprised he didn’t realize the same would do well for LOZ
wait what, I hadn’t heard that. Do you have a link?
wii and wii u had players choice games at 20 bucks as well.
agreed. though I will say, really, age of game shouldn’t really mean it is worth less money. if it is still a good game it’s still a good game.
screenshot has kirby in it. no kirby in article. disappointed.

yeah I was wondering the same thing. In the context of the article it seemed like they were taking down videos. but that isnt what the article says. so... confusion.
yeah, this is the real tragedy of consolidation of markets and need for large returns. the inbetween games.
How did the order of the alphabet get decided....adhd blackhole strikes again!
That is not true as far as I understand it.
From google,
That doesn’t seem like a legitimate reason to remove the videos. Seems more like they want the revenue from works they do not own and since they will not get that revenue they are removing them to make nintendo look bad.
I agree that yt’s system is BS. I had a video with audio I purchased legally struck by a completely separate party that had no rights to the music in the video simply because they put through a strike. That google doesn’t actually check if the strike is legal is complete bs and takes advantage of the fact that…
In what way was the entire channel disabled? I don’t think that happened. The article doesn’t say it happened.
What specifically would “drama or repercussions” be in this context?
