Andrew?

Thanks for the input!

Yea, I'm starting with the MSF course just to get a feel for if it is something I really want to pursue much further. My MSF place actually provides all gear, so there really is only $150 lost if I don't think it's for me.

Let me know what you think of these. Wondering if the boots are a bit overkill. Any help is appreciated:

Already signed up for the next available class (starts next Friday).

For someone looking to get into street riding to start, what kind of gear would you recommend? Aerostitch suit? Jacket + boots and pants and gloves? Race suit?

Yep, this just made me sign up for the MSF course near me.

As if other manufacturers wouldn’t pull this same kind of shit.

Show me on the doll where GM touched you.

While I definitely agree with you to a certain extent, there have been some beautiful F1 cars in the past.

Shit, I’d be hard pressed to spend a couple hundred on a Miata experience.

There's a lot of strategy in Quali on when to release the driver to get the fastest possible lap and how to manage the tyres during Quali.

Well not in an FR-S.

While I agree with your post for the most part, I think Alex's record was done in a far more methodical and calculated way than Ed's and THAT is the distinction that Roy wants to make clear.

Find one at your local CarMax sometime. It’s worth a drive just for the experience.

Then you want an AMG.

Yep yep.

She could be a mob boss like the mom in Only God Forgives.

I sometimes browse supercar and/or luxury vehicle forums, and you would be happy to know that there are quite a few folks who park a Fiesta ST next to their 458 or 650S.
