I went with 5 through 5 innings, and figured they would continue that pace for the next 1453 innings. They’ve fallen off dramatically since then, and are only tracking to hit 1093. That said, Matt Davidson should finish the season with 486 HR, which might bolster his HoF resume.

As I type this, the White Sox are currently on pace to have 1458 HR on the season as a team, which would beat the current record by nearly 1200. Sure, they could cool down a little, but hard to argue with the stats!

I’m a Cub fan by trade, but I think the White Sox are going to surprise a lot of people before the end of this season. They’ve got more talent than they know what to do with, and no one is expecting anything out of them whatsoever.
