The people who kept me flush with butt paste were my heroes FOR REAL for a long time. So on behalf of everyone you’ve done that for, thank you!

That’s exactly it - I feel like I have a responsibility to raise a feminist kid, and am endlessly frustrated that while so many of these exact same people would be giving him “empowering” toys if he were a girl, they just refuse to break from this rigid mold for him. And FOR REAL with keeping new toys to the major…
Awesome, thanks!
We asked for coloring books once ... monster truck themed. But at least it was art stuff! (Also I colored like half the pictures, because it was fun.) Thanks!
I’m not saying stepping on cars is worse than stepping on Lego, buuuuuuuuuuuuut it’s a pretty close second. Thank you!
It might! He tends to get so excited by anything he’ll rip open the package and play with it nonstop, so that might sell me about a bit in the immediate, but it’s worth a try. Thanks!
As I mentioned in another post, I just did a donate of many, many trucks. And still have sixteen. But have fun with whatever projecting/trolling you’re going for.
Ironically, people bought the girls on my side of the family BB guns.
Conversely, it’s rude when I say, “hey guys, we are maxed out on trucks for a while, thank you!” and them to go “lol here are six more trucks.” I’m well aware that it’s about the gift giver, which is why this has been the case for a year and a half. But thanks for your super helpful advice!
I feel better just knowing it’s not just me, thank you! I did a massive purge of trucks the other day and we STILL had sixteen.
I have a boy child, young, and for the last year and a half every gift he has received from family members has been a variation of a vehicle. We have clearly asked for no more transportation-themed toys, but we get ignored and now there’s some hostility around our request, from family members on both sides. (I have…
I COMPLETELY forgot about that scene and will now have it stuck in my head for the next 49 years and I’m not even mad about it.

Nope, but having a doula in the room when you are uneasy, uncertain or, in this woman’s case, terrified of a certain outcome can provide the emotional support necessary to make sure you can advocate for yourself and/or feel more secure in the procedures and outcomes.
I didn’t have a long labor, really, but a c-section because the heart rate kept dropping. Turns out he was just face up. I could have delivered fine, but who really knows. However, my doctor also sat with me and carefully walked me through it. I ultimately had to tell her three times that I was fine with having a…
It depends on the pregnancy. Many doctors are fine with vaginal birth after c-section, but it depends on a lot of factors such as the health of the mother, the location of the placenta in relation to the original incision, and how the incision healed.
Seriously, this is the most we could be talking about a SATC movie without using the word “problematic.” If they can get paid for their interviews this seems like a win win win.
That’s what I thought! I was like, “well good for him for paving his own way already?”
I legitimately thought Page Six was saying Barron TRUMP was engaged. It’s been a long week.
I’m not a fainter personally, but I’ve heard from others that going in well-rested, not very caffeinated, and very hydrated helps, as does asking to remain lying down with your feet raised for a longer period of time after the donation, but I also know a few people who really can’t just donate. If that is the case…
