I will heartily endorse this book. It was among the first handful of personal finance books I read, back when Warren was relatively unknown. To this day in the budget tab of my financial spreadsheet, I track my budget by her 50/30/20 metric.

I’ve only been doing this parenting thing for 10 years but it finally clicked into me that this time of year (January/February) is just the shittiest month for parenting. My kids haven’t had a full week of school this month. They have no routine. They’re sick of each other. They’re sick of me. They’ve both been sick

No one yelled “This isn’t my plate, you fucking bitch!” Disappointed.

Yeah I sense you feel the same, but I am personally hurt by the fact my parents would just sell me the fuck out for lower taxes - my access to health care, right to bodily autonomy, ability to thrive financially and maybe even retire. They don't give a flying fuck about that shit for their children.

I can’t even deal with my parents who vote Republican AND are paying attention. My premiums went up $80 a month AND MY DEDUCTIBLE IS $15,000! My parents only care about lowering their taxes and literally don’t give a shit if I get healthcare or not.

$60 a month, no deductible (in-network), $2,000 maximum out-of-pocket annually. I’m in a union.

I keep myself from having the ingredients in my home but you better believe every time I’m in my childhood home them bologs are rollin’

Live X-Más!

Then what, prey tell, is the rest of the constitution for exactly?

If you follow Nikki Glaser on instagram she has a funny bit where she imitates Markle faces and now that’s all i think about every time I see a picture of her.

Except... this happened during warmups, when anyone is allowed to go right up to the glass, regardless of where their actual seats are. The fact that the kids are next to the glass doesn’t mean they/their familes are rich and spoiled.

It is petty. From his Facebook: “I was trying to do a killer standup special this evening but I might’ve gone too far. After the first show, I felt kinda nauseous. I threw up a little but it didn’t seem to help. Then I started sweating buckets and my chest felt heavy. Turns out I had a massive heart attack. The Doctor

Leia’s status as princess of Alderaan has nothing to do with her biological mother’s status as former queen of Naboo. Leia’s adopted mother Breha is Queen of Alderaan. Bail is Senator and Prince Consort. He handles Senate and Republic stuff. Breha handles the actual running of Alderaan.

Bail Organa, while a member of the Galactic Senate, was also royalty on Alderaan. Princess Leia Organa was, as his adopted daughter, a member of the house of Organa. This is some basic shit, dude.

Oh my god, I forgot the best part! On his final exam, he wrote his essay about a novel we didn’t even read for the class. And then he got mad when I didn’t give him any credit. Him: “But I answered the question! This book was a better example. You have to count it.” Me: “The point of the exam is not just to answer the

They’re conditioned to think that way from infancy, basically. It leads to the occasional awkward interaction in my classroom, when some guy tries really hard to establish himself as the authority rather than me. True story: I once had a student complain about the way I graded his exam, and he started with “I’ve taken

Except he’s blabbing about a legal matter. Alleged crimes.

Thank you for responding, Miss M.

I think Anthro-Fracas was one of the New Gods. He’ll probably show up in the second Justice League movie.

Whatever the reason...
