Oh my. I just....I think I officially give up.
Oh my. I just....I think I officially give up.
Interestingly, the writers modeled this ep on the McCarthy hearings. And we’ve just...come so far in the last fifty years, haven’t we???
I showed this to Mr. Longstocking. He was unimpressed.
I live here and you’re right. The ads were like night and day. Ossoff’s ads were very earnest and policy-driven. I hardly saw Handel in her ads at all until the end. Most were basically hit pieces on Ossoff created by PACs. I kept thinking, “He’s not going to win if he doesn’t go negative. But if he goes negative,…
Something classified? Security briefing maybe? The security guy looked like a marine.
But you know…he's not a great writer. He's a hack who plagiarized his breakout novel from his dead friend, IIRC. So his character strikes me more as a hustler / confidence man who will say anything to keep his gravy train of the moment afloat. There's no way he's really attached to Claire or anyone else other than…
I hated Claire so much during most of S1. But I grew to like her a lot toward the end and, now, she's probably one of my favorite female characters on television ever.

What books were you reading? Cause they sure weren’t Poirot.
Also described as “full of curves” (The Labors of Hercules). I hate everything about this.
This is the greatest GIF in the history of giffing.
I am about to cry actual tears about this girl. So horrible and tragically unjust.
Well, it’s something the president said. Not sure about “our”.
This exchange right here is cray.
This exchange right here is gold.
I just commented on my fear of beginning this book. It's huge! It's like a Clancy.
Currently reading "The Trespasser" by Tana French. It's fantastic.
I am confused. Didn’t he just get married to someone who is not, in his opinion, a “ho” or a “skeezer”? Shouldn’t he be honeymooning? Why does he even care what other women are doing?
I will never understand why a married man has so much to say about women who are not his wife. Never.
So the problem is not the problem, but the fact that people keep saying there's a problem. Got it.
Good point. He’s too far from the team now to understand the way it’s working (and not working). Making decisions from the front office is showing how out-of-touch he is these days.
