The X-Files started out on Friday night, on Fox, and it was the most perfect Friday night show ever. And maybe the show was just as good when it moved to, what was it? Sunday? But, for me, it never again achieved the same feel it had when it aired on Friday.

I tried to figure it out a while back, with little success, so I gave up. If an article includes some tweets in its text, we're good. If the article only references the tweets, and the reader is left to his or her own devices to find them, forget it. I'll never see them. LOL.

With so many of those old shows, it's the phony, contrived laughter in the laugh track, alone, that makes it all but impossible for me to enjoy them.
