Such a wonderful movie. Still one of my all-time favorites.

Love, love, love Ghost Town.

Dan Hedaya also plays Danny's dad, Alan Castellano, on The Mindy Project, who is divorced from Danny's mom, Annette, played by Rhea Perlman … who played surly cocktail waitress Carla Tortelli, on Cheers … whose husband on that show, Nick Tortelli, was played by … Dan Hedaya!

OMG, *love* High Fidelity! Love pretty much everything Nick Hornby ever wrote.

Pillow Talk. And I'm probably in the minority here, but I love the Janene Garafalo film The Matchmaker. I find it absolutely charming.

I've always wondered how those rulings work as the show is being taped. Who, exactly, is entitled to bring a mistake to the attention of the Jeopardy "authorities," who are, I presume, seated off-stage?

Yes! In fact, as DJ ended, and they cut away to commercial, I held my breath, waiting to see if, upon the show's return from the ads, Trebek would explain that "Kay's" had been an incorrect answer, and that Stew's total had been adjusted downward. Fair enough. I take your point. And I, too, am more than a little leery of of our own politicians who, drunk on power, or desirous of fantastic wealth, or whatever other twisted motivation your mind can conjure … I, too, am distrustful of those individuals, and fear the kind of calamities they are capable of wreaking

Yep. He just can't help himself.

"Did you hear that, people? Clinton and Obama can *read*! Damn elitists! They think they're better than you!"

Nixon also, curiously enough, signed Title IX into law. Go figure.

Well, I've been doing *my* part to spread the word!

Yes. This ^^^^

Well, here goes …. To this moment, I believe I've posted only one comment about politics here on AV Club, but I'm afraid I now feel distinctly compelled to post a second.

I like Mallory okay, but I, too, preferred Emily Yoffe.

LOL. I've never lawn-bowled, but I've always had a blast at regular bowling. And …. I am a terrible bowler. Just god-awful.

Yes. And I found it annoying.

That was my first guess. Then, I rejected shot-put, moved on to tennis, but finally ended up settling on bowling. Oof.

My FJ guess was bowling.

Yep.
