This. Ralph I think you misinterpreted this one.

Jihad is not a financially responsible hobby.

Pretty sure you just called Mary Barra a man, bro.

Apparently his social criticism is a little too subtle for you guys. I would think the twitter handle “Muhammed Moskowitz” would have made it blatantly clear they’re offering up a social critique by way of satire. But, I guess that’s why this is an automotive website.

This seems to satirise the entrenched sexism within GM and much of the auto world at large.

I have to agree with you. The insinuation is that she's a figurehead and Ammann is the one in charge. Had they said "a man's world" instead, it would have been sexist.

I don’t see it as sexist.

I haven't been in the new one, but the old cts coupe felt like a heavy person trying to be a horse jockey. It is alright in the corners of an on-ramp, but then rockets out on the straight. Mind you GM had all-seasons on it in February. Sports A/S at that, it wanted to power slide at 50 plus on i275

The problem is that American prosperity is now associated with anything BUT American brands. They did it to themselves; what young man growing up in the 70s, 80s or 90s lusted after grandpa's Cadillac?
Even American mussel was shit for 3 decades; but at least those brands were salvageable because they had so little

this right here, especially with the whole 335hp 3.6L vs the 400hp TT3.0L. Looking at the A7, you get 333-hp starting at 68k, and the 450hp S7 starts at 82k. i mean i know options can be costly, but they will likely be on the CT6 too. why would i buy a 400hp caddy when i can get a 450 audi in the same range? i

I will catch a lot of hell for this and maybe I should. GM should have kept and invested in SAAB as their Euro luxury fighter, instead of sinking it all into Cadillac.

Remove the Escalade from the equation and tell me what Cadillac sedan people are "aspiring" to buy. You mention that is what they need to do...but the customers simply aren't there. So how do they make money now?

You would...but the vast majority of 90k luxury sedan buyers probably would not.

Perhaps...but I'm just not seeing that in buyers under 40.

But who is going to buy the CT6?

It' all about saying "I drive a BMW," or "I drive a Mercedes."

Must not be that big of a deal if they couldnt even think of a good name for it. CT6. da fuq is that.

Musk was born in South Africa, so...

What does the original topic have to do with "saving US jobs"? Did you just pick the headline and made it something totally else than the Reuters article was?

Why? Are you saying that some people are more deserving of altruistic action than other simply because of where they were born?
