That´s actually a great point. A 2.7 Billion dollar loss....damn. That money surely had to come from somewhere. And it sure isn´t the directors' own pockets.
Not so sure how "small" that price is. But you´ve got a point.
You´ve got to hand it to VAG. They lost over 6 Million dollar per Veyron and it took them just under 10 years to sell 450 of them. And, instead of calling it quits they´re actually developing a successor. A persistent bunch, that´s for sure.
If you dont find it impressive does not mean that it isn´t high tech.
It was (and still is) very high tech. Lots of development was needed to produce the Veyron.
It is amazing that it took this long to sell 450 of these cars while Porsche sold out of 918s (which they made 918 of) in about a year after putting them on sale. Goes to show that the people want high tech rather than a pretty car that costs a gazillion dollars.
This! If they truly were 300 carat, they would be called 46 million dollar car keys.
Painfully expensive, amirite?
So... essentially a rebadged Audi A7, right?
This! This is one of the few times I actually disagree with Tavarish.
No. It´s imo far easier than that. Cadillac has fallen into the terrible habit of benchmarking German competitors. Remember the ATS which used the BMW 3 series as a benchmark. A consequence of this is the habitual following of already established trends.
I disagree with you on this one Axial. Designing a reliable, small displacement engine with a linear torque curve ( with 4 valve´s and no pushrods nonetheless) is not only sophisticated, it´s also damn impressive.
Haha, it's all yours buddy. Use it carefully.
You don´t get what I´m trying to say.
So once again Caddy is literally years behind the competition. Bravo. This is why sales are lagging behind.
This. I would love to see a response to your questions.
