I mean, maybe the F-35 isn’t right, but wouldn’t it make more sense to have an open finished product competition where manufacturers could bring whatever they wanted, rather than saying “no, this is out before the competition”?

I may have seen that, but there are lots of programs with way too many old guests yelling at each other :P
Buying Saabs aircraft team...That would be interesting, and a huge boost to the Indian Tejas.
I’ve read that the issue is all our arms are American and would not fit Euro birds. Would not be opposed to some Rafales though
“Having two engines provides a limp home capability that makes everyone feel better”
Not sure about that. Twin engines are so tightly coupled these days, one failure can often mean two. The F-15 has more engine failures than the F-16, and can’t limp home on one.
It was a lightweight interceptor. We’d still need this other stuff. And if we’re complaining about F35 costs, running our own fifth gen program would cost even more.
I find Justins position on this a little puzzling. If you’re having an open fighter competition, each manufacturer should be able to bring whatever they want. It’s not “open” anymore if you say “we’re discounting this jet outright”, that should be up to the standards set by the runners of the program. I liked Mulcairs…
Found my answer, the 50 inch Vizios don’t have the motion smoothing at all, so no worry about not turning it off.
“For your money, you get a 50” panel at 1080p and 120Hz with three HDMI ports,”
Careful, that’s Vizios “effective refresh rate”, which is double the real refresh rate. The E50-C1 is a 60Hz panel.
Just to make sure, is there a soap opera effect, and is there a way to turn it off?
It /is/ their favorite snack food, they’re saying Alahu snackbar, right?
Industry leading chips, eh. It’s also Nintendo though...I’m turning optimism up to 3, but only 3.
Is the model 3 thought to have self driving features?
Linky?
Todays tech flies higher and faster, a lucky shot from the ground is *always* a risk, but it’s definitely much lower than the risk to the F-117 now. The F-117 was also flying the same route every day, the planners had gotten cocky and complacent. Lesson learned, I hope.
“As for authenticity, in order to further prove the origin of this part, I have created a certificate with my personal signature which goes together with the part.”
Oh, well as long as mystery internet person creates their own certification.
And pictures of it under the borealis discredit them?
Looked like a dude was shooting at them with an AK-47 in one of them. The helicopters did look pretty low and close, but how likely was that to do anything other than paint him as a target?
Also if I was this allah dude I’d be pretty cheesed they keep shouting his name every 2.4 seconds.
Dream car = Malibou. Nice upsell there.
“Depression is a symptom, not a disease. “
Makes intuitive sense, therapy targets autonomous thoughts, prefrontal cortex controls those things. Medication targets the amounts of neurotransmitters, which are related to limbic system functions. It’s also why doing both at the same time is more effective than therapy alone or medicine alone. If you get the…
