A little less rim and with a little more tire... 9/10 would still hoon
Do you have/need an orange triangle for slow a moving vehicle?! Do you drive with your hazards on, does this thing have hazards?! Many questions
Those 2 were the practice pieces I used before building this gun safe using 8 of these joints and no glue.... The X holds a magnet that unlocks the door when you know where to place it. Shops are convienet but I remember building in the driveway with nothing but a jigsaw. Keep at it, it only gets easier until your…
Nice summery! Also, backing up light towers/towable light plants is brutal in a dually. 30' trailer is a cake walk. Also curious if this is timed + distance, 100 miles seems relatively easy given the time and road.
I can only imagine if on the road! Now that I think about it, I have seen the tractor side bolts break....but it was a loaded 18 wheeler with a front mount, stuck 18" in the mud being pulled by a D8 dozer. Sheered all four bolts.
Back to the good ol’ days of wiping with 100's!
Montana’s min wage is one flat rate. I’ve never even thought about tipping less than being in another state just because they make more (equal) than the rest of society.
For me I’d never go anywhere near max with a swb diesel truck regularly. Astetically Ford defers to level there trucks stock, as for GM they go for the higher rear end to compensate displacement, both are going to give. Its just unsettling when your brand new big boy truck looks like it can’t handle 10k trailers…
Failed to mention, I’m referring to a long box from experience, worst case scenario. However the 100 gallon slip tank, fully stocked toolbox, and misc parts I was carrying daily wasn’t doing anything. But yep, put some weight on the hitch and watch your rear end sag like a cali lean pre runner and it does go away...
Thanks, that’s good to hear, I’ve only experienced the ‘15 for 25k miles, it was company owned truck or I’d of sent it back. Hopefully for the 17's you no longer have to open your door to wash off the 3“ of mud trapped up to the door sill from the inside of your cab also.
My only pet peeve on the GM trucks is the led reverse light cluster in the side mirrors. I’m constantly thinking there’s a car in my blind spot do to the black blob, takes some getting used to.
I have had a similar experience... Plus the way the Fords rear end tends to hops sideways on bridge embankments, nerve wrecking in winter.
Most of the good (riding) mountain passes have light trailer restrictions. This way you can bring a friend.
Agree totally. The aftermarket 4x4 fender flares look out of place.
