They market the GMC as the more premium brand, you can’t have the premium brand be the ugly one, but neither should be ugly

This is the right answer. They are super easy to drive, enjoyable and 4x4 for when you take the kids up to Tahoe in the winter!
They usually work at least one week before and one week after the school year, so 190-195 days. Even if they average 50 hour weeks (some do a lot more, some do a lot less), that works out to 1,900 hours/year. Assume that at a salary position you work an average of 45 hour weeks. That works out to 2,250 hours/year. So…
No, we hit the CP, because a broken PT Loser is worth about $500. There are plenty of cars we would be willing to turn a wrench and get running again for the $2000 out lay. This is not one of them.
No. I can get a running and driving Miata for $2k all day. Why would I want a broken PT cruiser for the same price?
Wait, so teachers only work 180 days per year? The average salary is $58,950 , so basically that’s equivalent to $117,900 if they actually worked the full year. With benefits and retirement.
Why do they always complain about not getting paid enough? Last I checked, I work M-F 8-5 for my first job, evenings/nights at my…
As much as we all want fun/cool/whatever cars, there’s something to be said for a car you can depend on.
But a great deal nontheless. Hell, even the 350 versions were only good for 15mpg on a great day.
$2500 for a running and driving truck, and it’s the last year of the indestructible GMT400 series. This is a no brainer. NP all day long.
took a rented expedition EL (ford’s equivalent of the suburban) into SF and berkeley once. there were garages with clearance too low for it, and a few spots i went through sitting on the windowsill checking the clearance as i crept through.
You’re joking...right?
The worst part about car culture everything is the people.
I can’t believe I’m going to say this, but Tokyo drift actually got something right (kind of). The muscle car guy from America didn’t automatically know how to drift, and there were was a lengthy montage or two showing him learning to drift (and screwing up a lot in the process). Now I’m not sure if that evo was…
That most car enthusiasts are pretty stupid and stereotypical. I say that as a car enthusiast.
People keep saying why buy a small truck when you can get a full size for the same price. While that technically may be true it’s not the reality once you start optioning them out at least it wasn’t when I was shopping for them. I was cross shopping a Tacoma vs a F150 and when you start looking at comparable trim…
Once you have a truck you may find yourself not wanting to go back. I know it happened to me. These trucks are great too, just like the Tacoma and Colorado, you get the benefits of a truck but it’s way more maneuverable.
For the first time ever in my life, based on seeing and reading reviews, I kinda want a truck- and this one specifically. I don’t prefer Crossvers but I like the appeal of a truck instead. I’ll not use it to go offorad or tow. Perhaps the occasional Home Depot trip, but they market the ranger as a lifestyle vehicle…
Amazon Wine used to do the exact same thing but with wine. It didn’t last very long. (I miss it.)
