okay my 96 accord has vtec yo. but the speedo doesn't work, i keep track of my speed by paying close attention to the tach. knowing which gear i'm in and where i'm at. if im on the highway doing 2500 rpm's in top gear i'm somewhere in the 63-65 mph range. 3000 rpm's puts me close to 70mph.

I'd have to go with the 91 civic ( provided it has a 5 speed). With a 91 civic, if by chance something does, I can fix repair or replace it by myself within a day at most. The likelyhood of being able to do the same on a 2010 is not a sure thing.
