And then some Joe Hacker guy makes an app for jailbroken devices that disables the 24 Hour lockout. Apple would essintially be handing out free apps and there would be no need for 3rd-party repositories.

@Deekle: Ha. Honestly, I hate reading anything at length online or on a portable device. I always prefer a physical book to its digital equivalent. And I don't own a Nook or Kindle. Unfortunately, the future of physical books does not look promising.
