I hope Mutant X is canon.

Pretty sure Thandie Newton is just cosplaying as Negan in that photo.

It’s possible the outfit could be from a disguise sequence in the movie—Newton’s scarf doesn’t exactly scream Imperial-sanctioned neckwear—but there’s a chance Newton’s character is a villain in the movie.

“Cataclysmic event” should be Professor X’s mind quake that’s hinted at in Logan. Should be....but won’t....that would make too much sense.

Billy Zane as P.T. Barnum

I’m the filmmaker. Absolutely not (!)

Is this produced or in any way affiliated by Steven Greer?

Yes, it was an episode written and directed by Alejandro Jodorowsky and David Lynch based on a original story by William S. Burroughs.

The only Very Special Episode I remember in The Powerpuff Girls was the anti-drug Just Say No-styled (in fact it was probably the last Just Say No-styled episode on American television) episode where Mojo Jojo gave Chemical X-based drug to some kids and made them defeat the Girls to get more Chemical X drug, but that

Why is it defenders of fuckery always lean in on the “I don’t understand?? What’s going on??? Why is it like THIS?!?!” as if they’re complete fucking retards who haven’t been a part of society and culture their entire damn lives.

Goddamn it, for the sake of being PC, do we have to introduce blue-haired characters in every damned show now? Can’t blue-haired people just watch their own shows? And we all know where this started:

Absolutely agree, saw the film and am on book 5 of the novels.

Looks like they have come up with some crazy backstory for Charlie, the most haunted doll in the world, in one of the episodes. Charlie has a serious reputation of giving people bad luck to those that take pictures of him without asking or calling him names. Zac Bagan’s did a segment on him recently in his “Ghost

Yeah, Marvel had multiple chances at doing a decent Black Widow movie and lost it to both Atomic Blonde and now Red Sparrow. But remember, according to Marvel, female led action movies just aren’t profitable. I’m mean just look at Wonder Woman. [/sarcasm]

Most episodes hint that nothing supernatural actually happened, just people’s trying to be explain things they don’t understand. (Some episodes like witches, vampires and changelings that’s the point of the whole episode)

Actually, the podcast talks a lot about the suffering that was caused when people didn’t understand the science behind certain events (for example, epilepsy being mistaken for possession, and the horror of the early lobotomy surgeries).

Oh man! I just reread A Mote in God’s Eye last week! Such a good book. Pournelle and Larry Niven were great together.

My introduction to Pournelle was via his Chaos Manor column in Byte Magazine. He was exactly the kind of tech guy I loved: he spent a lot of time getting all kinds of cool tech and disparate systems working together. He genuinely seemed to love playing with technology, and it came through in his writing.
