To the person who wonders if Cryptozoology is even a field, consider the number of unknown species discovered every day. Cryptozoologists don't run around looking for Unicorns (although that would be cool). A majority of them (especially Loren Coleman) take their work seriously. Many people have encountered bigfoot

I loved the STRAIN, because Vampires are so played out. Like Zombies, I admit (even if they are my fave monster). But when a new story comes along...something with a different feel, I get excited. The STRAIN was different from all the other Vampire shit. I will definitely read the FALL. It feels like del Toro and

@Mizri: YES! I want them too! Whoot!

Um. I know my Science. But dammit, this is SCIENCE FICTION and sometimes we fail to remember WE HAVE NOT ACHIEVED Time Travel so until we do, all theories are just speculation until they are validated. So, I enjoyed the episode, and frak me, but Mrs. Fredericks must be a god or something. Woman has succeeded in Time

Lack of money has been frakkn up my life for a while now. I don't need a study that took a lot of money that could have gone to something more deserving, to tell me that. Plus, scientists must be really happy. They usually make a pretty decent living.

Thanks for introducing me to this! Seriously. *hi-fives*

So sue me. I still think WINDUP GIRL is, by far, the most BORING book ever written.

Literary Sci-Fi is the most boring genre. Ever. And believe me I have tried to give these books a chance, but they lack excitement. They lack the geek love that takes an ordinary idea and makes it epic. They are not Sci-Fi at all. They are books USING Sci-Fi-ish elements because we wouldn't read them otherwise.

I love Terry Pratchett. Always did. Always will.

@NonElitist: I didn't much like THRESHOLD but INVASION had potential. That was a GREAT show in the making and no one watched it! And Surface was awesome! Lake Bell kicks ass. But c'mon, the effects...and the story was just coming together. I really enjoyed those two shows. Gone too soon ;/

@Charlie Jane Anders: Um. Big Apple Con. October. When you mention it, on the October list just say, "MARY MCDONNELL, YO!"

FRINGE! Whoot!

I loved it. "...Clartie? Artia?" Hilarious!

How can Stiletto's be out? They're like weapons of mass seduction and they're hiding in plain sight! Plus, they're pointy! HELLO!!!

Is it just me or are people getting dumber? Fucking with sharks. The NEW NEW Darwin Award.

Sooooo...this one time, at band camp...

Mark Sheppard.
