I think the tipping point is whether you can abide by a 10,000 mile limitation. It'd be great for me, getting a car allowance, and technically (but not enforced) required to have a 4-year or newer vehicle. Problem is; my commute is 300 miles per week, not counting travel outside of the area.
I'm not suggesting she shouldn't be involved, just making an observation. It's not like Jeffy can't find a job, or even need one.
That's just another urban legend he is so famous for...
What about Dodge? I always found it a bit surprising that Penske, having won his very first championship in a Dodge, jumped ship and ran to Frod, uh, I mean Ford. My only Ford was my 1973 Pinto...
Nice review. I'm always hoping someone will attest to its great handling, but I realize that's just a pipedream. The thumbs-down in the braking column came as a surprise, though.
Wifey probably had something to do with that decision.
Me too. Larson really impresses me.
All I have to say is...GO JIMMIE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I've never been a huge fan of Jeffy, but I respect the guy for his accomplishments. He's a smart racer. I was rallying for him this past season, since the new (asinine) rules created an elimination fiasco. Well, I rooted for Gordon and Harvick, not Newman and Kesolowski. Nothing against Newman, but he hadn't won A…
Those Chinese bastards have fined several automakers for overcharging for cars, but the markup goes to them for doing virtually nothing.
OK, fine. Joe Mama says you can hack your own engine, but just don't come crying to me. (that kinda works, doesn't it?)
Well, Chrysler's recent World Engine was co-developed by Chrysler, Hyundai and Mitsubishi. And I think it was the one BMW was going to use, as well.
I think the point of the article is that the original post sensationalizes the apparent ease at which someone can "break" these new vehicles, maybe to the point of targeting Jeep, or just the Cherokee. And just because you can access the parts of your car, doesn't actually qualify you to do so. Maybe Mr. Miller is a…
I forget who it was that was driving a formula 1 car for the first time, and it may have been someone on Top Gear. Point is, those cars handle like shit until they are at speed. They are specifically designed to go fast around corners. Anything less than near top-speed and there's not enough downforce to keep them…
Yep. Electric torque. Like watching an RC car. They just take off like a rocket. The inexperienced dude with the Hellcat never had a chance.
I've actually hit one, and snapped it in half. Truck was totaled. It was not fun.
Love the Buick.
I've seen those commercials. Looks absolutely elegant.
We had a '96 that we kept until 2011. Wife had only 147,000 miles on it, but I was never afraid to take it on the road, for fear of it breaking down. Now that the kids are all grown up, we've graduated to SUV's. Well, whenever I get that new Wrangler...
