Yup. Our diet is so absurd we're essentially voluntarily treating our livers like those force-fed foie gras geese. Every American should be aware of this fact in order to somewhat mitigate the effect of our absolutely ridiculous diet but people just don't care.

FLD is sort of the final stage before things get very bad. Scar tissue (cirrhosis) is the final step and is irreversible. If you honestly cannot quit drinking you're going to have make some serious commitments to lifestyle changes in order to mitigate the damage. At the very least you need to start taking Milk…
