I’m old enough to barely remember him pitching with the Mets. I was 6 in ‘86 and a giant Strawberry fan. Doc, Keith, Lenny, etc... live in in the very best memories of my youth. Back when the Mets could actually win!

both usc and ucla are better than middling.  both are also heavy on the name dropping from alum.  i also attended a pac12 school that would be considered very equivalent to ucla in sports and academia, but it's in a rainy city and not a sunny city, so most don't find it as desireable.  usc on the other hand?  fuck
