What lesson was that? That audiences would pay over $1 billion globally to see an Aquaman movie with Momoa?

It’s amazing how rail thin she still is after seeing the amount of scenery she’s gleefully chewing in the trailer.
She’s an excellent candidate for “I’m a criminal not a villain” tropes. Is she the bad guy sometimes? Of yeah, for sure. Is she ever going to do something like trigger an apocalypse or do a genocide or have any confusion where she stands in the face of a galactic-level threat? Of course not.
I was thinking more along the lines of him going “Okay, you’re safe now, I can’t do my job and defend you at the same time, why don’t you head home from here.” At the very least, after the final battle, she had little reason to come with him to meet the Avengers. Also, if they keep doing this with her as his sidekick,…
Those weren't just any women, I'm pretty sure those are the un-brainwashed Black Widows.
I’m very optimistic for Wakanda Forever. it seems like they’re doing everything right so here’s hoping they don’t fuck up the big question (how T’Challa is handled)
Is it just me or did we just see Kristen Stewart playing Kate McKinnon playing Diana Spencer in that trailer?
The fact that the stones are gone leads me to believe Strange isn’t actually capable of altering reality like we see in the trailer. In actuality, its probably more like Strange giving Peter a secret tour of the multiverse to explore consequences. Strange is picking up Peter’s hero training from where Stark left off.…
Unfortunately it takes a lot away from what makes him Spider-man. But I guess it's a different take on Peter in the MCU.
Random thought... MCU Spider-Man’s suits are just sorta spidey-themed Iron Man suits with different gadgets, yes? Tobey Maguire’s Spider-Man had to put on an actual mask, Holland’s just hits an invisible button and he’s instant Spider-Man.
I’m just like, really shocked that Dr Strange is totally happy to agree to all this, apparently doesn’t even bother explaining what’ll happen to Peter, and then apparently blames Peter for Dr Strange’s own meddling (which Dr Strange or “Steven” as I guess we’re calling him) was warned about by his own colleague.
I think you mean GoT, not Marvel’s GotG?
Side note , sometimes over here movie studios forget to localise adverts and tag film posters with that ‘Only in theatres’ line.
I would say the difference is Free Guy uses “multiple IP shoutouts” for a brief 30-second gag, whereas it’s the foundation for the other two movies. It didn’t feel forced because it came out of left-field since it hadn’t brought in any other crossover stuff before then, so it wasn’t like the movie was hinting at it…
We would have also accepted:
I loved the movie. It was funny, emotional, had SHOCKINGLY deep dives into the sentience of AI for “ryan renolds in GTA”, and it handled all the references better than ready player one by making them super fast and plentiful but still possible for you to notice, like the mega buster. Also the fact that there was a…
Nothing out of the ordinary for a bunch of horndog blood drinkers.
I think the Tesseract was built into the ‘Hydra Smasher’ Iron man suit - hence the little hand-wave about the generator being able to power it towards the end.
