That sounds pretty rad. It’s a shame I was so burnt out by the bleh-ness of the marvel shows (Iron Fist was terrible, Defenders was mediocre, at best, Season 2 of Daredevil got progressively worse, The second half of Luke Cage completely undercut the marvelous first half, etc.) that I completely skipped season 2 of

Maybe JJ would have worked better if they had gone in reverse

I’m actually bummed that Sarah is gone. Don’t get me wrong, she is the fucking worst, but my uncle is law partners with Sarah’s father in law, so I always looked forward to getting some good gossip off of him at family gatherings. (Did you know that the rest of the Sanders clan are democrats and hate Trump?)

Mila going off on a pro-democracy rant in fluent Russian would be the highlight of the weekend.

Yes, and as much as I hate to give them even a small portion of credit, Jared and Ivanka were likely fine with that -- it would be awkward af to sit with the likes of Katy Perry and Diane Von Furstenberg knowing they think you’re complete trash (correctly, of course).

Ugh, she is keeping that awful Endgame look for the solo movie? Marvel films truly have some of the worst hairstyles for their female characters.

I never read babe again after the so-called Aziz Ansari hatchet job. That story was a mess - a poorly considered piece by an unprincipled and crusading editorial staff.

I’ll say it again.

If you ever want to hurt your brain, read the chapter on Amy Pascal in Ben Fritz’s The Big Picture. Two things will become readily apparent:

Exactly!! Have one of them Cameo to tie it in, job done.

I noticed that my home state of Ohio it was Inside Out, a film I enjoyed. Wall-E and the first Incredibles are probably my favorites, though (and I also enjoyed Incredibles 2).

While honeymooning on Summerisle, Chris Pratt and Katherine Schwarzenegger decide to check out the world famous “Wicker Man” festival.

This. The fact that Cap was the one was perfect. It’s the ideal that we should all be caring of others no matter who they are. It’s sad that Captain America is way more tolerant than a lot of the ‘patriots’ today.

I’ve gone back & forth on this. Part of me wanted it to continue, but man, it’s just a perfect gem as it is... I dunno.

I get most of the authors here are young and come at things from a different perspective, but please don’t discount us “olds” who saw this show in real time and really wished something like it existed much earlier. Had I seen this type of show when I was 14 (1982) my life might be much different now.

At first glance I thought this was cool because Cavill has the potential to be a truly great Superman if given better material—but this isn’t even referencing something that Cavill did AS Superman.  It’s referencing some other character the actor played.  (Like if he’d done this move as Superman, it would be as if it

Yeah. The scene was great. The whole point of progress is that being gay or straight shouldn’t be a big deal. Making it a big deal makes it disingenuous.

I thought it was a good moment. To me, it helped build the perception of how changed planet Earth is post-snap, a ravaged world still in shock and grief with touches of PTSD.

Eliza Dushku never gets the cred she deserves. She’s a ball out actress who takes what could be unlikable characters and makes us fall in love. Season 2 was great because of Dru and Angelus, but season 3 was way more emotional.

The best of Angel is far better than the best of Buffy.
