The majority are not Syrian, there are every nationality across the Mid-East, Sub-Saharan Africa, Asia etc. there is an awful lot of BS, false or missing paperwork etc.

All true and there should be sympathy for genuine refugees, but as a genuine refugee you would/should be happy to get to a safe location and then see what you can do for your family/ country etc.

1) The majority are illegal economic migrants, but they speak English, so in addition to the myth of England, the benefits system gets abused and they can fit in much easier than in any of the countries they have passed through to get to Calais. Legally refugees should claim asylum in the first safe country they get
