I’ve long been an advocate of advantage play, as well as penalizing “hack-a-player” intentional fouls the same way as flagrants.

When Greenwell took this job did anyone tell her she’d have to spend so much of her time dealing with old man takes retrieved from a dead drop in a forest?
I notice that you didn’t show the instances when the a defensive player would take the attacking player out and leave them in a pile under the basket. You know, old time basketball! Hard nosed! No easy buckets!
The tactical foul to stop fast breaks can be so easily remedied by allowing “advantage” play. I.e., the ref tracks the foul but does not blow the whistle so that the attacking team can still finish their 3 on 1 break, and the foul is called after the bucket or during the next stoppage.
Agreed we need to eliminate the 3-pt line
Steph is mostly fine, but Kevin Durant is the corniest motherfucker on the planet and jumped ship to a juggernaut, Draymond is a huge asshole, Boogie is a huge asshole, Klay Thompson is just a total herb, and Steve Kerr visibly doesn’t give a fuck about coaching until May. Fuck them.
Easy answer: GM should design and produce better looking, higher quality parts for a car that wants to eat at the big kids table. The margins exist. It’s a matter of desire and dedication to being better, or in this case, the lack thereof.
It’s funny you mention that. I have a background in dealer ops management before taking up a career in building software and interface experiences... with a couple OEMs as past clients, and one of them was a certain Detroit-based make. So yes, I do have an idea.
Nah. Not one bit. I just have fun giving GM a hard time for not liking Jalopnik in general. You’d understand the snark if you knew the history.
At least 4
If I have an honest choice between one of the most reliable Japanese engines on the market and an Italian engine, I’ll choose the Japanese engine every single time.
I have never understood the perception of Miatas as “chick cars.” They are the closest thing available to the Triumph, MG, Austin-Healy, etc. roadsters of my youth, i.e., hard core sports cars.
We still love you, however you identify.
Remember: if you don’t buy a Miata they’ll have to discontinue them only to have the name come back ten years later on a crossover.
But every Jalopnik Discussion thread says buying a new car is the worst thing in the entire universe to do.
Appreciate your honesty, CX-3 seems like a very good car, the dimensions aren’t largely different from my Focus ST...
If you’re flipping a miata you have many things to worry about
Damn straight
Harsh. I like the RF. Also, let the record state, I bought a Fiesta ST and a manual Forte in the last 5 years new. I’m doing my part.
My girlfriend loved it. She’s in Canada. You don’t know her.
