Does anyone else have issues playing embedded videos from Twitter on this site?  I almost never can.  Drew’s WYTS was an exercise in frustration at many points.

Uh, any dealer or independent Porsche shop can easily work on it. It’s not THAT different from a 996 GT3. I’d be betting most of these shops have already retrofitted the RS parts to many 996 GT3 in the past anyway.

Hot take. While the front of the 996 is controversial, the rear is the best in the water-cooled era. I used to own a 996.2, and I’ve started feeling nostalgic for it at Porsche Club meet ups. They look so sleek and clean.

And someone will buy it.

It’s not just you. The C8R looked pretty good, so I had hopes. But this, just.... wow. The front is reasonably attractive, but everything from the start of the side air inlet back is just a mess. And the rear wound up looking like a Camaro somehow.

I was thinking the same thing. Looks like a unlicensed generic Lambo knock-off from Grand Theft Auto.

Is it me or does this seem extremely “meh”? That wing looks like butt, the proportions aren’t great. The angles aren’t great. It looks like what a generic mid-engined car would look like. Air-intakes look nice and big, but wow is that rear fender large.

By virtue of being as wide as the track, it doesn’t have to do anything.
