I don't care who bought e46s or why, that was a great car.

This guy is fucking insufferable.
I dunno - I occasionally check the classifieds for 510s in the rust-free parts of the country and often find ones that have had too many parts bolted on, or have been turned into gaudy drift machines. Still a wonderful car.
Needs moar lights
So, what the fuck was actually going on the field in the first gif? Why are these guys tumbling into the sidelines? Is there even a football involved? It's all happening so fast
Thanks - good to know. I actually don't care which definition we use, I just want consistency. So I'm still a bit mad at Merc, because it seemed like we had had a good long stretch where coupe did mean four-door up until the CLS.
Thank you! Goddamnit Merc. First "4 door Coupes" now this.
Yeah - I never subscribed to calling them four door coupes, but I don't think that niche is done. Didn't BMW just introduce the four door 6 series Grancoupe? That seems like the A7 competitor to me. The A7 wasn't an A6 Avant replacement, like the 5 GT, and the A7 actually only comes standard with seating for four.…
Those aren't the same niche. The GT bridges the gap between the sedan and the wagon, the A7 bridges the gab between the sedan and the coupe.
What the hell is the point of this thing? Is it supposed to be for the US market because wagons don't sell well? Cos if I remember correctly, Jalopnik reported the horrid 5Gt actually sold slightly worse than the 5er wagon it was meant to replace here in the States. Just stupid.
That black carbon fiber really isn't doing as good a job at hiding the extra girth, as Aston thinks it is. I'd give the exterior an 8. Just so overwrought, especially compared to the DB9 and V8 Vantage.
I fucking lust after these. It's the number one car I want to own in my lifetime.
AAAAAHhhhh. That thing is hideous. Why are they insisting on making these "GT" abominations. Didn't you guys report that sales of the 5er GT were no better than wagon sales in the US? So what's the point? If there's no wagon option in the US, this is completely unacceptable.
I meant both, but I see far more v70s around. As one of "the kids" (well - in my 20s), whose friends are also "kids" I can confirm that they do have their own type of cool. I mean - this a time when NBA players with 20/20 vision wear horn-rimmed glasses to every post-game interview. Everything targeted at Gen Y is…
Dumb. Just dumb. Auto Execs love talking about Gen Y, but I guess they don't know that the kids like the old swedish bricks. They have their own kinda cool about them. I see old V70s in Williamsburg, Greenpoint and Bushwick all the time.
Wow.
Love how the stars break the oval in the old one. I wish they would go back to this or drop the oval completely, but keep the stars. I think they get lost in the current logo, and just reads as a blue oval.
Wow - never seen that one - gorgeous!
Awesome! Now I wish Fiat would bring over their 2cyl 500.
Yeah, that is all great, but my diesel dreams are an R18 based diesel halo car. You can get it w/ or w/o hybrid flywheel system.
