I've got a dozen responses to this situation, the most effective and least disputed one is to tell them "your annual performance is based upon the volume of incident tickets you receive, so if they don't submit one, you don't get credit for it and this will impact your pay/bonus at the end of the year".

I think the problem is, all of these behaviors are totally subjective. One person's "Walled off" may be another's "Overbearing". For example, I know several overbearing people at work; however, none of them think/realize they're being overbearing.

This is gonna' sound ridiculous, but the biggest reason I'm holding on to Accu-Weather is because its integrated into the stock "Circles" widget which came on my Moto Razr Maxx HD along with the clock/alarm, and power usage circles. Is the weather data accurate? Oh hell no. I think Accu-Weather is about the LEAST

Increase Your Contribution Each Year

A newer Ford Escape comes to mind. Great smaller SUVs... as are their bigger brother, the Explorer.

You're right, but Toys weren't always as tinny as they are today. I almost bought a 2011 4Runner which was the year they changed to the current body style. I had driven many, many older ones over the years, and every one of them was like driving a tank. This new one? Tin city. Doors and hood were tinny, engine was

Definitely liking that you are Bimmer guy and although I wouldn't hesitate to impart this advice on someone who's handy which a wrench and enjoys doing it, but the OP did ask for "reliability" ;)

"In addition to those quibbles, I think it's misleading to suggest that kids destroy marriages when what they really do is reveal the fault lines. I would like to have happy, wonderful, passionate, engaged, mature couples with a proven ability to work through problems please tell me about how having a kid torpedoed

But that "hard" doesn't mean "impossible". Nailing jello to a tree is impossible; everything else is just very difficult.

Definitely! And check your tires' inflation monthly, too—especially when its starting to get cold outside, because the drop in temperatures can mean your tires' inflation dropping as much as 3-4 psi. Checking them on a regular basis is a great way to find out if there's a problem with one of them BEFORE going to

This is a really important and almost always overlooked one; tires DO have a shelf life, and you don't want to be putting yourself and/or your family in a car running "expired" tires. Sure, they may look brand new (or may never have been mounted before....just sitting in someone's garage for 10 years), but looks can

Out of curiosity, do you find there's any delay between the images and the audio? I know sometimes Bluetooth connections can suffer a slight lag and since I would never have any use for a soundbar—other than to make up for the lousy audio quality of a flatscreen TV—I'm not sure I see the value of Bluetooth over using

Looks like a cool unit, but holy crap....now THAT'S expensive. A couple hundred more, in fact, than my Samsung Plasma which I love. Ouchie.

Damn. Would make a whole lot more sense had I not spent only $699 on my 55" Plasma.

I know I'm a little late to the whole Plasti-Dip party, but how well/long does this stuff last on rims? And how involved is the prep? I've got a set of BMW Style 95's on my old 7 which are "5 footers", but just knowing the blemishes are there still bothers me. Excellent story by the way. Loved it.

For starters, I would definitely wipe down all hard surfaces in the car with an interior cleaner (or even Windex) and especially the WINDOWS using Windex. Smoke particles will adhere to glass like a magnet. So do the particles left over from steam from a really stinky pizza for that matter (don't ask).

Holy crap! When I first saw this, I thought it was a slightly different version of the Jag XJ-220.

Over in Europe, the E36 M3 got a hot 282 horsepower engine, a heavy duty diff, strong rear axles, and floating rotors. In America, the E36 M3 didn't get any of that. We sufered along with a 240 horsepower motor and everything else was a little bit simpler and weaker, too.

If "ranting about people generally being stupid" is a common problem for you, then I guess you really do understand how laws work ;) Something about using the "lowest, common denominator" to save us all from ourselves causes me great concern, but that seems to be how it works.

Awesome. Appreciate the clarification. I am guessing your background is in Loss Control/Risk Management? Again, just a guess.... ;)
