Funny that you are speculating rather than providing concrete examples of conservative politics being welcome at ESPN. I don’t necessarily disagree with your conclusion, but you are making a shitty argument.

He should respect the game and play it the right way, I agree.

I don’t know or give a fuck about any of your opinions.  It’s kind of funny that you think I do and are begging for my approval like a neutered puppy.

A guy is upset and does something to hurt literally no one, so Deadspin naturally echos the bellyaching of the “get off my lawn” Royals announcers.

Your buddy zakany001 thinks it. And 6 other morons starred his moronic comment.

Uhhhhhh you do realize that the President is not the Congresswoman’s employer, right. Because what you are saying suggests that you don’t realize that. Or you don’t realize what the EEOC is.

I had someone argue with me that it was illegal yesterday, citing the EEOC guidelines on discrimination.

I think the three goals also irked them a little.

I mean I never wanted to be some corny “ally” but now I realllllllly don’t want to.  Good luck at the next police beatdown though, that sounds fun!

I know I said I was done, but I just have to say that being accused of being a Russian bot is like a 1st Place Trophy for me. It means that you literally have nothing else to try and you just want to accept defeat with an air of dignity. You might as well start screaming “ShUt Up FaGgOt!!!!”  You are such a loser.

Look man, I appreciate your sentiment, but you are just consistently wrong in really stupid ways. EEOC guidelines don’t apply to how the president speaks regarding members of congress. Is this something you actually don’t understand?

Omar and Tlaib are 100% antisemites. I don’t think the others two are though.  AOC tripped over herself trying to shit on Israel and eventually just admitted she doesn’t know what the fuck she is talking about. The other one, I don’t really know anything about her views on Israel, but she isn’t  militant Muslim so

I do agree with you that the United States is the greatest country in the world and that the president shouldn’t be racist (I don’t think what he tweeted was racist, but I do think it was xenophobic and stupid). But, that is a political statement. And it requires making a political conclusion that the president is

This is an interesting take. Though I’d like to pin you down with what you are saying here. Is it that politicians have an obligation to speak with any reporter at any time, or that NY1 is a large enough outlet that Paul should make time for them?

I mean, Pitaro basically did say that. He said that the creep of politics into programing was effecting the network and they were taking steps to reverse/minimize it. La Batard is just another griping employee that doesn’t like that his boss gets to make the rules.  I’d like to be able to wear shorts to work, so I

What I am saying is there is a big difference between tuning in to ESPN and seeing something that is political-adjacent and noncontroversial, like the national anthem or Jackie Robinson day, or honoring 9/11 first responders, on the one hand, and talking heads discussing contentious political issues on the other.

Nah, fuck the Yankees has to win out, especially here.

I guess “stick to sports” could be a political statement, but a sports network trying to limit the political content (specifically the divisive political content  -- don’t come at me with the stupid argument that the anthem is political -- maybe it is political in some technical sense, but comparing it to a speech

What if the people in your life, have people in their life, that allow people in their life, that let people in their life, that are Republicans? What should you do then?

Someone wants some Deadspin cock really bad.
