Here’s an idea. For profit prisons are going to lose inmates once POC aren’t being arrested left right and center for cannabis related infractions. Make guns illegal to own, then add a buyback scheme and fill the prisons with the nuts that wont let their guns go instead. Lots of issues solved.

Interesting.... in a sad way. I had the thought that autism was in part caused by lack of emotional development by not growing up in an emotionally healthy environment - i.e. morons for parents.

I would agree - turn the other cheek is something I do, but when I do you have to pass my mouth and then it’s my duty to explain that hitting my cheek isn’t pleasant and if you do it again there will be consequences.

Getting really tired of all these reboots in the Shakespeare franchise. They never add anything new, it’s just a rehash of the same old stories. They even change actors - how is one supposed to keep track of this shared universe when the faces change constantly?

Those are side buns, not side rolls. I think that hairdo is iconic by now so you should be calling them by their right name!

This is a hearsay story I got from a ranger while I was in South Africa some 15 years ago. I was staying in an enclosed area with nice big fences around it in the middle of the savannah - awesome hearing the lions roar at night :)

A new wind blowing in crime forensics!

There’s a wonderful chapter in year 1 of “Injustice - Gods among us” that deals with exactly that. Sometimes I wish that Superman would turn back into Tom Strong again :)

There's and old Indian myth/saying/understanding that I will try to paraphrase to give some thoughts about the eventual end. "Life is an everflowing stream - our lives are droplets in that stream. Our physical life is like a waterfall in that stream - when the water flows over the waterfall the water gets separated

I had the same. Bought the game and it took me about three months before I really gave it a serious go. Used a few walkthroughs to point me in the right direction initially. The S.T.A.L.K.E.R. game is the most immersive, exiting and scary experience I have ever had with a computer game. I have played quite a few :)

Filters often use keywords to categorise individual pages on sites. Landing pages on Jezebel/Gawker often contains "risque" material in individual article summaries according to keyword filters. so sites can be blocked and unblocked based on whatever material shows up on them. You will probably find different

"I love gooold!" LOL - other content was fine as well :)

If true that would be great. Carrie was a great addition to The dark Knight Returns comic and having a female Robin on screen would be a nice surprise.

Very good example of American journalism versus Danish/Scandinavian journalism right there. Take things at face value without looking deeper and go for shock effect.

Agreed - actually think it's a valid and brave choice as an example in the sense that there's a bit of duality in this setup - lessons on both sides of the fence. Perception due to attire is a reality - one has to learn both to look past it but also conform when it's beneficial.

Love this.

The peak torque numbers are allowed to remain absolutely bonkers, at 2138 lb-ft PER WHEEL. Which means 8,552 lb-ft total. Just what you need to reverse the rotation of the earth so you can go back in time like Superman did in that movie. Because that's how time works.

Hah - that was my reaction too at a Rush concert in Germany when they started playing "Xanadu". Long time ago that was ....

You have to be kidding me.

It really is sad that this seems to have become a weekly occurrence in the US.
