When you compare the VR38DETT to the LS7 , the Chevy produces way more HP/letter-number.

I disagree that it's changing the pick up truck landscape. I agree it belongs on the list. But there are not near as many Ecoboost F150s over the V8s. Just because it's "better" doesn't really mean that it's changing the landscape. It's not like GM is racing to put the new twin turbo 3.6L in the Silverado. Or Dodge to…
Cadillac's current baby is Magnetic Ride. You can get mag ride, a twin turbo V6, an 8 speed auto, and Brembos, which is a very good performance package. They're also trying with Cue, although they're having the same growing pains as iDrive.
Even Ford guys know what's up.
This pile of crap? Seriously?
Same...I don't get it. Easily the best-sounding V6 ever made. Crazy power for its size when they came out, extremely reliable, tons of aftermarket support...I don't get what's not to love.
There is a lot of irrational hate for the VQ here in Jalopnik land. Doesn't make much sense to me because it is so subjective, but apparently they don't like the sound of it. I think the sound is intoxicating. I guess if you can't criticize the reliability, power or efficiency you go for the sound it makes.
Jeep 4.0
The Chevrolet LS series of engines. Horsepower, torque, simplicity, compact V8 format, inexpensive relative to complex OHC engines, and capable of providing respectable fuel economy.
Same people who are buying Navigators now. People without any sense.
I said the same thing in another post. The new Denali/Escalade will absolutely destroy this vehicle in every, single way. I am getting a new Denali after having the current gen now and cannot fathom who would buy this Navigator. I own a Focus ST so it's not that I have anything against Ford.
Nice Explorer. There you go. Lincoln is saved.
Would it be safe to say that Lincoln employs the least creative people on the planet?
